The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

Next, Caspian dug out the demon core from the monster's brain and placed the entire corpse in his storage bag. Maya glanced around and said, "This monster with the body of a goat and the face of a monkey is a Broken-Tooth Ape. However, the Broken-Tooth Ape never acts alone, and there'll at least be a dozen of them. Thus, there must be other Broken-Tooth Apes around, so be extra alert!"

What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

The Black Sorcerer

The Black Sorcerer

Since a spider has 8 legs, whereas, this monster had 16 legs. The soldiers said that it was a hybrid monster known as Mustang Spider. Its colored dark green skin was as hard as steel. The soldier requested to change the route. Not even they could manage to kill it with ease. They might be able to kill it, but for sure, some of them would fall victim to the monster.. That monster was rank C+. Monsters in this rank are also known as 'Wanderer'. Because they usually wander around the place, hunting for enemies. Every time they kill their prey they become stronger. And they had the ability to summon mobs of the same race as them.

The Last Thunder

The Last Thunder

“This one is a demonic one…” “A demonic monster?” Claude and Darrion frowned in alarm. Jai looked at them curiously. “What’s a demonic monster?” Claude tried to explain. “There are six types of monsters in this world. The normal ones without elements like cats, dogs, the ordinary cows and sheep are considered as domestic monster. They only cause a small amount of damage compared to the others. The next one is elemental monster that is able to use element to its will, and sometimes, they also produce the elemental energy themselves. The third one is intelligent monster. This one usually understands human language and has a higher comprehension of life, meaning, it’s usually a lot more powerfu

Wanderers Of the Night

Wanderers Of the Night

Neither of them woke up. Kim saw the head of the sarsh turn in his direction, in the light of the moon peeking through the clouds, the pointed tips of the ears sticking out on the sides of the top of the head looked like real horns. Sharp and strong so that they were able to easily pierce the human body. - Will you stay here? the monster asked ingratiatingly. Kim shivered again. stay? The surrounding darkness with cold tentacles of horror more and more enveloped the body, looked with thousands of eyes of unknown creatures. Sure, he could re-create the protective dome, but what's the point? And Vic and the sisters will be far away.

The Monster's Protégé

The Monster's Protégé

“Which checks out—since you’re just a pretty little cunt with daddy issues.” Crack. The back of my hand slammed across his mouth so hard his head jerked sideways. I stepped into him, eyes locked on his, and my voice low and shaking. “Wrong,” I whispered. “I’m your worst fucking nightmare.” His lip split, but he only laughed like a maniac. I’d met his kind before—men who fed on fear, one who didn’t break with pain. But even monsters had a threshold. And I knew exactly where to find his.

The Mates of Monsters

The Mates of Monsters

I tighten my grip on David and ask, "Your proclamation—what's the big picture? Where do you see this going? I'm curious, Alpha Nicodra. Do you have any specific ideas regarding how exactly you're going to resurrect our culture?" He lifts his glass to me and says, "I'm happy to hear your interest. My ideas are truly rooted in our conformity to a way of life that was simply not built on the beings we are. Frankly, Brigette, we are not human. In all honesty, we're monsters—at least to them, at least in our physiology." "Monsters," I repeat, tasting the word on my tongue.

This is a very good book and can be part of my Recommended List. And for readers like me who like to read reviews first before deciding if they will read the book, this is NOT your TYPICAL werewolf story if you’re like me who loves reading them. BUT it’s very worthy tackling the true concept of MATE

What a delight! Well-written, this story is an expression of the authors maturity in writing and in story telling. Internal dialogue and conflict of our main is the whole story, the tone slightly heavy. Great feminist lead, who has her cake and eats it too! Also the Alpha is pretty great too.

The monster's fated prey

The monster's fated prey

"It doesn't distract. It fuels me. It makes the world clearer. We end this together, and then, we see what remains of the world." The enemies regrouped, their leader—a scarred veteran of a dozen campaigns—bellowing at his men. "The bond makes them monsters! Ignore your fear! Kill them both!" Aziel laughed, a sound devoid of mirth, echoing with the cold authority of a king. "Monsters? You have no idea what monsters truly look like." They charged again. The bond hummed with a mix of raw, animalistic fury and a haunting, quiet tenderness that defied the carnage. Aziel protected Lior’s blind spot; Lior neutralized threats before they could even threaten Aziel.

Shifted Fate: The Alpha Begs Me Back

Shifted Fate: The Alpha Begs Me Back

The silence was heavy, humming with tension. I wondered what sort of chaos we’d left behind. Those…things that Blackstone had made in his labs weren’t wolves, and they weren’t human either. They would have no conscience about ripping everything in their path to shreds. But I would never make the idiotic and fatal mistake of underestimating Kade and Andrea. Something told me that the monsters were being torn apart like stuffed toys. A memory flashed—a sparring ground, the crack of my bones, the tear of my muscles.

The Luna’s Forbbidden Blood

The Luna’s Forbbidden Blood

But here, on the peak, the sky was a swirling vortex of black and gold. And there, at the center of the bone circle, stood the Monster. It was ten feet tall, a nightmare of shifting geometry. It had the shadow of a wolf, but its limbs were made of the same silver liquid as Julian’s eyes. It didn't have a face, just a vertical slit of violet light that bled static into the air. "Kael?" I stepped forward, the dagger held low.

And that terrified him. Kristen had looked at him like he was more than a monste, like he was a good man. And deep down, he believed her. But belief is dangerous. It makes you soft.
