Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo Novels & Stories

Liora wheezed, eyes watering. “You… can’t… touch me…” she choked. “I’m… the Luna…” Scarlet laughed. “The Luna?” Scarlet spat. “You’re not a Luna. You’re a fucking parasite wearing a title like perfume.” Liora’s eyes flashed with hatred even as she struggled to breathe. Scarlet’s grip tightened just enough to make her vision blur. “Tell me,” Scarlet demanded, “or I swear to the Moon Goddess, I’ll make you beg for the death you couldn’t give me.”

"The Moon Trace Ritual is to commemorate those whose souls still exist but whose bodies are gone. Legend says it can create a brief connection between the living and… the other side." Marcus looked thoughtful. "Do you really believe you can contact the Alpha?" "I don't know," I answered honestly. "But Orion keeps saying he sees his father in his dreams. Children can sometimes perceive things we can't." The sun fully set, and the moon began to rise. Tonight was a special Silver Moon – the night of the year when moonlight was at its purest. "It's time to gather the pack," I stood up and beckoned to Orion. The little one immediately ran over, as agile as a young wolf. "Mama! I won! I'm the fast

Every shadow in his eyes. And then she turned back to the heart. The cavern trembled. The veins of silver light flickered. The heart cracked wider. The moon above turned fully crimson. The Bloodmoon had reached its peak. The forest screamed in pain. The bond unraveled. Lyla raised her left hand. The crescent-shaped scar blazed white. Her claws ignited with silver fire. The forest whispered. "The guardian bleeds. The heart endures." She didn’t hesitate. She plunged her claws into her chest.

The sky that night was not its usual silver. It was red. A blood moon loomed over the Lunar Pack, casting an eerie glow across the mountains. Shadows danced across burning huts. Screams pierced the air. Smoke curled high into the heavens—as if the stars themselves were mourning. Lyra’s heart pounded in her chest, her arms wrapped tightly around a crying infant—Snow. Her daughter. Her Moon Goddess reborn. “Zane!” she screamed, her voice raw with panic. “They’re coming!”

I nodded once, hoping it was the truth, even though the lie tasted bitter. From outside the chambers, I could hear the sound of music already playing, the chanting, the roar of the Crimson Moon Clan, as they gathered in the courtyard. My pack, my own people. Tonight has been planned as the night they would all bow to me not because of tradition, but because, out of all the young maidens, the Moon itself would recognize me. But instead of feeling special, the Moon awkwardly felt… far. “A Luna should at least feel full tonight,” I murmured. “Like the feeling gotten from standing under rain after a drought.”

"The Moon is not a weapon, Leo. It is a 'Cocoon.' When it strikes the Earth, the two worlds will merge into a 'Stellar-Wolf', the ultimate lifeform." "At the cost of seven billion lives?" Leo growled, his amber runes turning a blinding, incandescent white. "The many are the fuel for the One," Selene smiled. The Harmonic Countdown "Ren! Timing!" Leo shouted through the neural-link. "Giza is in position! Rio is at the Heart-Core!" Ren’s voice was strained. "We have ten seconds! Leo, you have to hit the Neo-Tokyo heart NOW!"

Scarlett was hurt and they could see the way her eyes were shedding tears. “The truth is, Moon is in love. And he is in love with two people. But that’s not the issue. The thing is…” “Shut up Marky”. Moon warned Marky but he forgot his brothers were as fearless as him. “Moon is in love with Sky and Lexi. And that’s why he is leaving us because according to him no one would approve their love”. Scarlett was shocked. Marky didn’t say but he had actually dropped a bomb at her head, and their grandparents too.

The blood moon hung at its absolute peak, bathing the Nexus Chamber in deep crimson light that mixed with the swirling silver, violet, and crimson ley lines. The time had come. Serena stood naked in the center of the glowing spiral, her body marked with carefully drawn runes of binding, fertility, and convergence. The Moonbloom petals formed a perfect circle around them. The Guardian’s Heart pulsed in the middle like a living ember. The vial of Lunar Essence and Kael’s alpha blood floated in levitating crystal orbs.

She nodded. Lois stared at her. Then, slowly, his scarred face broke into something that was unmistakably a smile. "You're sure?" "I'm sure." He lifted her hand to his lips and pressed a kiss to her knuckles. "Then we wait for the blood moon. And when it comes.." His voice roughened. "I'll make you mine. Liana's eyes glistened. "I'd like that." Outside the window, the moon hung heavy in the sky. Not fully red.

It was sitting atop a rock, gracefully outlined by the moonlight. "Please... you can have me, but just let her go." I pleaded. The biggest one walked forward, it was so big it looked like it could swallow me with a single bite. 'And why would we do that?' It raised its front paws, slamming them back to the ground and causing dirt and dust to shoot into the air. 'You thought you could escape us. This is our turf East Valley belongs to the Lupine. You vampires can't stay in your land; you must come to ours and take our food. Leaving the rotting carcass to decay here while you run away with full bellies..."
