Slow was sweeter. Kai was doing his drills: breath, body, boundary. Neat work. Almost boring. But boredom builds walls — and when the walls crack, they make better music. You’ll meet your mate soon, and things will fall into place.” Tina managed a small smile. “Thank you, Luna.” Luna Alice gave her hand a gentle squeeze before walking past her. Tina stood there for a moment, watching her go, her smile fading as her thoughts darkened. Then she turned and walked away down the hall.

But it's okay, my heart is less heavy now. Atlas turned back as he heard someone's voice. His breath became heavier as he looked back. It was Catherine. The moonlight was touching her face. She immediately pushed through the crowd and knelt beside her, checking her pulse. Then again, and again, the room became deathly silent. Slowly— The healer lowered her hand, her expression darkened. The maid began crying harder and several servants covered their mouths. The healer finally stood., then bowed her head sadly. "Luna Lyria..." She paused. "...has joined the Moon Goddess."
