Novel & Cerita Moonbound Fate

Mine! Eamon is circling like a vulture. If I don’t bring Elowen back before the moon reaches its peak, he will claim the throne. He already has the support of the High Council and a mate bred for power. All he needs now is for me to fail. For her to remain in the dark. For me to lose control and ruin everything. I’m not going to let that happen. I down the drink in one big gulp. Pushing the thoughts of my wolf far into the back of my mind. Not now. I have to remain focused and help her find her wolf first. There’s not enough time.

He gulps the last of his water, crushes the empty bottle in his hand until it scrunches into a ball, then hurls the fisted plastic into the farthest depth of the forests beyond us at inhuman speed. The baritone in his voice drops a notch below. “We’ll end him.” I'm about to ask what the plan will be in detail, when my mind drifts to the date of the next full moon. Only a few days away now, the date coincides with… the night of the School's Winter Formal. Shane balls both his hands into fists, inhaling, then stares up at the reddening sky. “Dreadborn will fall on the next full moon. I'll make damn certain of it.”

Silvercrest gathered beneath a sky that no longer felt hostile. The new moon had passed, leaving a night softened by stars instead of shadows of control. The compound’s central ground, once a place of trials, judgment, and fear, had been transformed into open space. No platforms. No chains. No carved decrees demanding obedience. Only firelight.

My mind drifted to the past—to the first time I met Arden at the training grounds, the way he smiled when I beat him in a sparring match, the promise in his eyes when he asked me to stand by him as his Luna. Promises fade. Love lies. The Moon watches. That night, under the faint glow of dawn, I made my own vow. If fate ever brought him back to me, he would not find the same woman he left behind. The Luna he let go would rise again—not for him, not for revenge, but for herself. And somewhere, I hoped the Moon Goddess was listening. Because if She truly never made mistakes… then maybe She had just begun to set things right.

“By the time you step down… you are no longer Zaetron’s mate, your son was never born, Nightshade never had known you, and the people will only be seeing Denise Soleil as the Alpha of Shadowstone like you long wanted.” I no longer wanted. I have already given up that position. And if I could bring back time, I wish I have chosen to be by his side sooner. If only I could. “And if I complete the mission…” I dissolved the smirk on my face. “—will everything return?” Afana smiled seriously, “The moon will answer you. Are you taking the mission?” I nodded and dropped my knee down with my head held high. On her mouth emanated no more words as her hand reached my left wrist. In the absence of hesit

"Not like she did. And now Kaden's offering me the Beta position. I finally have a real place in the pack, a purpose. I can't – I won't – throw all that away just because fate decided to play some cruel joke." Each word drives the knife deeper, but I force myself to stand straight, to keep my voice steady. "Fate isn't playing a joke, Liam. The Moon Goddess chose us for a reason." "Then she chose wrong, damn it!" He steps back, and the distance feels like a chasm opening between us. "I formally reject this mate bond, Finley Bennett. I release you from any claim or obligation."

"You hear that, Maya? That’s the sound of a billion souls waiting to be downloaded. The moon isn't just a factory anymore; it’s a hungry mouth, and your children are the only thing on the menu." Maya’s vision was a fractured kaleidoscope. She saw the "Earthbound" protocol flashing on the console; a golden icon shaped like an anchor. It was the only way to pull the lunar server out of the sky to drag the Secret Empire’s digital ghost into the dirt where it could finally be burned. But the price was written in the fine print of her own DNA. To delete the bridge, the bridge must be empty.

--- Far above, the full moon blazed white. Below it stood a Luna reborn, a pack reunited, and a love not even fate could unravel. And in the shadows beyond time, ancient forces watched and whispered: The age of the Moonborn has begun. --- THE END.

Together, they would rebuild, renew, and create a future that no one could ever take away from them. The moon overhead glowed brightly, its light illuminating the pack in its silver radiance. It was a reminder of their bond, a symbol of the strength of unity, of love, of power. And as the pack howled again, their voices mingling with the wind, Leora's chest swelled with pride. This was her family. This was her future. And she would fight for it. Always.

Because of her breaking faith, I ended her myself. From that day on, I swore I would never trust fate again. Fate is a cruel joke. So, if the Moon Goddess thinks she can force me to accept Rhea Valeria, a girl whom I almost killed, she is sorely mistaken.
