Just as I was about to walk off this uncomfortable scene, I felt a burn on my skin. The moonlight had escaped the drapes of the clouds finally and it was lighting up the terrace with its own enigma. But why burn? Isn't the moon an epitome of cool and calm? I shrieked when I realised the burn that was flaming on my skin was actually, under my skin. With a clatter, the champagne glasses on the tray shattered on the floor. Luckily, the sound of music drowned it out but didn't stop the fact it poured all down the back of someone.

“Take them to the well!” I grab the twins, sprinting as the guardian’s wrath shakes the earth. Behind us, Ryland grapples with the shadows, his snarls mingling with the twins’ cries. Selene digs her nails into my shoulder. “Left, Mommy! The moon lady says *left*!” We skid around the monolith, the Moonwell’s glow washing over us. “Thanks. I didn’t realize I dropped it.” Drake doesn’t hand it over right away. He glances at the page. “Why don’t you sell this one? It looks… complicated. But cool.” I swallow. “One of the ingredients is hard to find.” “What is it?” he asks. The page shows a pale blue flower with curling petals and a glowing center. Laura called it moonshade. A plant that only grows in certain places, places touched by old magic. “It’s a plant,” I say carefully. “It only grows in… specific areas.”

Marcus joked along and we all laughed. I looked at Wyatt and Zen and turned back my focus on the three wolves, "The lesser powerful a potion made from a moonflower that is rare to find and only a few know how it looks and what is exactly used from the flower for the potion."
