Mother of the Moon

Mother of the Moon

*Yes. That was it, just ‘yes’. I don't know if the simple answer should please me or concern me. Lupus’s wideset grey wolf walked over to us, growled and shook his head, and then awkwardly trotted off towards the farmhouse, with the remaining Tri-Moon warriors following. Tri-Moon have been hit hard. They have already lost many fighters, and we haven’t even breached the house yet. Lupus himself is covered in blood and slashes. Luna Eclipse have only lost two. But those two will hit them hard. We came to the edge of the tree line, before the area opens up into the large clearing that is the front of the property. The Tri-Moon and Luna Eclipse warriors spread out through the trees. Off to the l

Fantastic series, I can't wait to read book 3. The story is gripping, the characters are engaging, it's the type of story once you start you can't put it down. The author is extremely talented, you can tell she gives this her all. Thank you Kay Pearson, I can't wait to see what you do next :)

Love Hunting

Love Hunting

Shama sat beneath the moonlit sky, the cool breeze caressing her skin. She gazed up at the full moon, its silvery glow illuminating the vast expanse of the night sky. Myriad stars twinkled around it, like diamonds scattered on black velvet. Shama wondered which celestial body she most resembled: the lone moon, shining brightly in the darkness, or the countless unknown stars, twinkling beside it, their light unseen by most.

The Moon Goddess And I

The Moon Goddess And I

It had the sign of the moon on it too. "This, is the sword of Artemis, it will be your cloud in the day and fire in the night. It will be your guild. Accept this gift from the goddess of the moon." Myra bowed placing the sword in her hands. Kendrick hesitated taking it at first, but changed his mind as his took it carefully from her hands. He held it in his hands and the moon symbol on the handle of the sword glowed brightly, and so did the moon on Myra's forehead.

Her Moon, His Song

Her Moon, His Song

A couple on the other end of the pool laugh at something I didn’t hear and swim around for a few minutes before exiting and heading back to their room. I watch them walk away. The man’s hand on the small of the woman’s back, like he’s guiding her as they go back. Their open affection hurts me for a moment, missing something I’ve never had. So much for running to keep my emotions in check. Here I am, eyes misting again. I never should have let Drake get as close as he did. I lie back, floating in the water like a starfish, looking up and searching the sky for help. Seeing the very small crescent of the moon. It would be gone soon, a new moon in it’s place. Maybe it would give me more strength

The Wife Of A Merciless Mafia

The Wife Of A Merciless Mafia

Only the difference is that I wish them to change what you felt for me 'cause just like the number stars, there are millions of reasons why you shouldn't love someone like me. I am a star but you're not and that's why our story is quite sad. 'Because you are the moon. Your phases from being broken to being full is something I was mesmerized to see. I saw your healing from the love you had back then. And I have never been so proud of you. But just like the sun, a star like me would never be a perfect pair to a moon like you. One day, you will miss everything about me, the things we love to do, how much I care for you, how I always annoy you, my love, one day you'll realize that you need me bu

Clouded By The Stars: New Moon

Clouded By The Stars: New Moon

The stars and suns flickered brighter still as though to say that she was welcome, and then they shone brightly again, asking her to choose. “Have I not already made my choice?” Kylie asked, surprised that she was still being given this opportunity. She had chosen the moon when the sun and stars were presented before her, an insulting decision to the celestial bodies; for the moon had no ability to produce its own light. It was a thief that stole their light and used it as its own, and now it had stolen their selected. The stars and suns flickered once again, and a small smile formed across Kylie’s face. While she didn’t know why she could understand the emotions of the stars, she did, and j

I didn’t want her to get into trouble for my sake. One night, I sat on an armchair close to the window, staring into the deep blue sky and smiling at myself. The full moon alone brightened up the sky with twinkling stars saying hello. I lifted my hand to the sky, doodling to form a beautiful shape. I got a favorite star, I called it the crescent moon. I love watching the star. I could tell its position because it always shines the brightest. I was still doodling in the sky when Luna came along.

Alpha Nox

Alpha Nox

“You are of the moon and stars, a fragment of light which will guide her way.” This card held the moon at its center, a radiant ball of silvery light that shone down on the earth. Stars twinkled in the distance. They began to move the longer I stared. I blinked, and they stilled. “The Moon, how fitting.” The Whisperer murmured from where he leaned against the wall. A near-silent snarl escaped my lips, and I froze. Zuri quirked an eyebrow at me, “Rarely are we happy with what the Goddess chooses to tell us.”

This was the 3rd Jane Doe book I read. Alpha nox is a really good read with a badass female lead. You're a talented author and I can say you've become my favorite author! My heart broke into pieces at some point but intense emotions are what I love the most about your work! Good job, Jane!

Sun, Moon, and Stars is this beautifully layered story that feels like a warm hug with a side of existential dread. At its core, it follows three siblings—each representing celestial bodies—who are torn apart by a cosmic war but spend their lives trying to reunite. The eldest, Sol, embodies the sun’s fiery resilience and becomes a warrior; Luna, the middle child, reflects the moon’s duality as a diplomat torn between factions; and little Stella, the star, is a beacon of hope trapped in a realm of shadows. The world-building is lush, blending mythology with sci-fi elements like sentient constellations and planets with personalities.

What really hooked me was how the siblings’ powers evolve based on their emotional states—Sol’s flames flicker when he doubts himself, Luna’s phases shift with her loyalties. The final act, where they realize their bond is the only thing that can rewrite the universe’s doomed fate, had me sobbing into my pillow at 3 AM. It’s one of those rare books where the fantasy elements feel deeply personal, like the author spun stardust into a family drama.
