Moonlight Novels Novels & Stories

But she knew, after a few moments, they would disappear into her eyes. Looking at the moon reminds me of the book that I have read about supernatural creatures. The moon symbolizes excellent and bad things that will happen to them. And what is more interesting is the existence of the Moon Goddess in the book. Vampires, Werewolves, Lycans, Zombies—they’re just part of humankind’s imagination. They’re not real. But part of her wishes is that she wants to see one. She let out a soft chuckle and got back to her bed. She will try to sleep. Besides, it’s still early.

the journalist asked curiously. "Yes, it's called 'Tales of the Moonlit Grimoire'," Luna revealed with a smile, subtly bringing the interview to a close.

Evelyn's expression turned serious, and she leaned in close. "The Lunar Curse is an ancient legend, it's said to affect the lunar pack, causing them to...change during the full moon." I felt a shiver run down my spine as I listened to Evelyn's words. How come i was so unaware of it. Sure i heard some stories about it but i did not know it was this dangerous. "Change? What do you mean?" Evelyn hesitated, glancing around the kitchen as if she feared being overheard. "I shouldn't be telling you this, and I think you have a right to know. The Lunar Curse is said to bring out the...beast in those who are afflicted. They lose control, becoming violent and unpredictable."

"So, moonlight isn't just sunlight bouncing off the moon; it's like a transformed version of sunlight, carrying a different energy?" "Exactly!" She nodded, pleased with my understanding. "It's like the moon's own version of sunlight, altered and imbued with a unique essence as it journeys through space and time before reaching us here on Earth. That's what makes harvesting moonlight so intriguing—it's tapping into this distinct energy source, harnessing its qualities for various purposes. It's almost like the blue fires used by certain creatures, but not quite similar."

, but before I could speak, something hit me—like a bucket of ice water poured straight into my skull. Memories. But not mine. A grand estate bathed in moonlight. Lavish dinners where crystal goblets didn’t hold wine. Whispers about bloodlines and rival clans. A name: Lady Astrid Valemont—the daughter of Duke Corvinus Valemont, one of the most powerful vampire nobles in the land. And the worst part? I knew exactly where I’d heard that name before. From a book. Not just any book—Blood and Moonlight. My favorite guilty-pleasure fantasy romance. It was the kind of novel where everyone was broody, beautiful, and one emotional outburst away from starting a war.

Still It didn’t matter as I took a seat down at the high ridden chair and started to read. It wasn’t just a book about simple mythology. It was laced with facts and truths, about what my mate was. The secret behind the hybrid. My eyes widened with even more curiosity, my breath first caught at the ‘Rite of Shadows’—a moon ritual that was strictly forbidden. It was said, that a pregnant Luna who had laid with an Alpha and performs the forbidden dance is bound to create a monster that world plague the world—a hybrid. I couldn’t help but turn the page even further, intrigued by what I read.

It was mine. Tonight, nothing felt predictable. The moon had risen huge and white, not soft but stark—like a coin hammered flat and nailed to the sky. Its light made edges cruelly clear. The moss didn’t blur into shadow; it glittered with frost. My breath came out in ghosts. The air was so sharp with pine and damp soil that I tasted it, resin and metal at the back of my tongue. Somewhere far away, water moved. Somewhere closer, something else did.

“Your mother never told you what your blood is.” The mark on my wrist burned beneath the cloth like it agreed. Kieran’s voice went lower. “That’s why they wanted you in the Moon Cages.” Moon Cages. The words turned my stomach to ice. “What are those?” Dax’s mouth tightened. “A prison. Moon-silver and bone magic. For wolves that don’t obey.” Above us, stone trembled—scraping, dragging. The tracker had found the door. Dax’s hand closed around my wrist, steady. “You opened this gate once,” he said. “You can open deeper.”

“Every step of the way.” Hope crashed into them both, crying and laughing at once. “Mama! Your moon is brighter now!” Luna looked up. Her own small moon in the sky pulsed brighter than before. Not because she was a goddess. Because she’d chosen light in darkness and come home. The second year of Many Moons was easier. Not easy. Easier. Wolves still argued. Still failed. Still chose darkness sometimes. But now they had examples. Valen’s garden. Elena’s school. Kira’s scar lessons. The Void’s growing sky.

If only. The book keeps my attention as I wait for somebody to come back with news on my grandmother. The other myths are astounding, and it makes me wonder if they are also true. One of them being The Moonlight Wolves, a pack that existed way back whose members were immortal, recharging themselves under the moons luminous glow. Though I doubt this one, it entertains me and fills me with a childlike wonder. I see why Henry reached for this book now. "What are you reading?"
