More Than Cake

My husband, Hank, is dead.  On our wedding anniversary, he ventured out in the pouring rain to buy me a cake, only to be hit by a truck. His body was badly mangled in the crash.  My sister-in-law, Lyra, called me a killer, claiming that I did not deserve Hank’s inheritance.  My mother-in-law, Judy, kicked me out of the house.  Overwhelmed by grief and guilt, I often wondered if he would still be alive had I stopped him that day. "Happy Birthday!" Caroline opened the door to Dillbert's office. He was Caroline's boss and lover. Caroline brought a cake that she made herself early this morning especially for Dillbert. But Caroline's eyes blinked when she saw Dillbert hugging a beautiful woman in a knee-length white dress. My intention was to give Dillbert a surprise but instead he got the surprise. The beautiful woman asked while looking at Caroline with a cynical look. She looked at Caroline from head to toe. "She is just my personal assistant." Dillbert answered quickly without hesitation. Then Dillbert turned to the beautiful woman in his arms and tightened his embrace, as if afraid of losing her. "Just a personal assistant," Caroline thought. It's true that she's Dillbert's personal assistant but she's also his girlfriend.

As master grabs me by the neck, he pulls me closer and his hand continues to roam around my body. With an angry look hovering over his face, he whispers. “You belong to me, Imogen, No one under the moon is allowed to touch you the way I do”. At this point i didn’t know what to say but my heart is beating fast. Why don’t I have my own bit of cake by seeing you go through what I went through because of you?” I know I am still in love with master because he is my mate, he is my bondage and more than anything, I wanted that bondage to consume me.
