Carrying the Don's Baby

Carrying the Don's Baby

Even his eyes held nothing but disdain. I was drunk that night when I slept with him, but now that I’m very sober, I realized this man looks really dangerous. He’s tall, muscular, and those biceps… oh good lord, he could have ripped me in half if he wanted. Thankfully, my limbs are still intact after that disastrous night. “Please leave, Mr. Moriarty-“ “How can I leave and let my pregnant bride marry someone else?” My knees wobbled. Everyone was shocked.

The Deal With The Devil

The Deal With The Devil

A shoe closed over my throat and held me down when Moriarty came to stand over me, kicking me hard in the kidneys. When I looked up, I saw how disheveled he looked, his tie askew, his shirt and suit splattered with what I assumed to be my blood. I laughed as one of his men kicked me again and again until I couldn't see straight. "Get him out of here," Moriarty finally said. I heard his chair creak under his weight.

My Love Until the Last Goodbye

My Love Until the Last Goodbye

"They’ll be fine, but I’m afraid you’ve really made Mr. Moriarty angry, and he’s not in a good mood." "What does Moriarty want?" "I don’t know, Mr. Bartz, but I suppose it has something to do with the scandal about Mr. Palmer." "He has nothing to do with me!" "We’d like to say that’s true, but it’s clear you don’t even believe that." [Moriarty Mansion] Anthony Moriarty was watching through the large window. He was waiting for Marcus Bartz’s arrival. When he saw the SUVs pulling up, he knew the man had finally arrived. A few minutes later, Marcus Bartz was escorted into the study where Anthony Moriarty was waiting.

this is the most confusing story I had ever read. there are so many characters and flashbacks, you end up mixing things and no, you don't get to read her comeback because the story skips when they are way older like they are in their fifties? it's not worth reading.

Billionaire Regrets: Loving a Substitute Ex-Wife

Billionaire Regrets: Loving a Substitute Ex-Wife

Lorenzo had hidden Alice and Alvin perfectly. Morgan’s Strategy: Utilising his limitless financial resources. He hired a team of top-tier global hackers to try and breach Lorenzo's network, track the flow of funds to unregistered properties belonging to the Mafia King, and monitor every suspicious bank transaction across London and Europe. Morgan focused on logic and security systems. "It’s impossible that Lorenzo hasn't spent any money at all. He hasn't been found anywhere with Alice," Morgan grumbled, staring at a screen that showed zero suspicious activity from Lorenzo's accounts. "He must be using cash or someone else."

THE ALPHA'S DEFIANT MATE

THE ALPHA'S DEFIANT MATE

I was slightly unconscious but still conscious enough to know that his men were dragging me somewhere. Their grips were hard and firm on my arms as they pulled me into the dark room. It was only after I woke up that I got the full details of where I was. I realized that I had been played. Sherlock had pulled a fast one on me. He had made a bait for catching Damien. I glared at him, my eyes flashing with anger. “What do you want from me?” I spat, my voice weak but full of defiance. He only chuckled, his eyes glinting with amusement. “You know exactly what I want. You see, I have been trying to take down Damien for quite some time now, and I believe you hold the key to his downfall.”

Mated To My Beta Stepbrother

Mated To My Beta Stepbrother

“Starting from when you and Sarah left the dormitory.” I looked at him carefully and noted that the badge was real enough but the jurisdiction behind it was something else entirely, and I understood now that the loyalty trial had not been a purely magical construct; it had been drawn from somewhere, built around a face and an approach that already existed, which meant that Agent Morrison had been in the pack’s awareness long before I had arrived in it. “I’d like some time before I answer questions,” I said. “My friend just died two days ago.” “I understand that,” he said. “And I don’t want to add to what you’re going through. But the sooner we can establish a clear account of events, the soo

Murderer

Murderer

This helps us get an accurate picture of the movements around that time. The inspector nodded. ‘All the evidence points towards one direction sir,’ the sub-inspector urged like a wife convincing her husband to be strict on their son. The sub-inspector was more orthodox than the inspector. His brain was programmed to make immediate conclusions based on what he saw and heard. When deriving a conclusion seemed difficult, he would first have the conclusion ready in his mind, and then twist the facts as he went along. Spending time analyzing a situation wasn’t his forte – for him, conclusions were all that mattered. As Sherlock Holmes would have put it, “your eyes see things, it doesn’t observe.”

I deduced and he chuckled. "You're sounding more and more like a detective Ria," he giggled and I rolled my eyes. "I'm a fan of Sherlock Holmes and Professor William James Moriarty, I might have picked up a skill or two." I grinned. Hehe, if you're watching me Sherlock, please don't disown me as a fan. "Then surprise me and solve this case, DETECTIVE RIA." He emphasized on the words 'Detective Ria' as he went out for a while.

Black Liver & Silver Fangs

Black Liver & Silver Fangs

He found traces of Outer Burst energy emanating from it. “Hm.” Sherlock began thinking about what the agent suggested about a human being transported along with the Outer Burst anomaly. “Maybe that young man could tell me something.” He directed his sight to the entrance of the barn but didn’t see Chad anywhere. “Where did he go?” Sherlock needed some answers to the questions he had stored in his mind and Chad was the only person he could think of to give them to him. Thus he walked to the barn exit in search of him. Coming outside the barn, Sherlock asked an agent that was stationed there about the whereabouts of the Berkley’s son.
