In Service of the Alpha

In Service of the Alpha

The whole place is decorated with the delicate orchids Mara loves so much, and well placed fairy lights blink in the oncoming darkness, giving the place a romantic feel. Mara may like it, but I’m not big on romance. It never even crossed my mind to do something this beautiful for her. I did pick the dress from a selection shown to me by one of the boutique owners, and I picked a dark green, emerald waistcoat to match Mara’s dress. That’s about as far as my input went. It’s hot, and I’m uncomfortable in the black trousers, white shirt and green waistcoat. I can’t wait for the ceremony to begin and end so I can shed the uncomfortable clothes.

I am loving this book so much! Author is consistent with updates and it’s so well written. I can’t wait to read more and understand why certain things are the way they are in the story because it is INTRIGUING!!! And I can’t wait to learn of certain people’s motives! Keep it up author!

What an incredible journey with this book! The storyline and characters are enthralling. I liked the complexity of every character, their struggles to overcome abuse and how they supported each other to overcome it and how they faced a nearly extinction event.

The Alpha's Mark

The Alpha's Mark

The ceremony was to be performed inside the temple, where the moon's light bathed the sacred space. I wanted to wear the dress that my mom wore for her wedding, but I couldn’t think of wearing it because I didn’t want to think of my father. So I chose another dress. It was a dark brown leather long skirt with a leather bandeau top. I wore bead necklaces with a pendant with my pack’s crest. “You look beautiful,” Kaycee murmured, offering me his arm. I smiled back, my hands trembling slightly. “Thank you.” Nothing prepared me for the sight of Darius.

SCORED HER HEART, NOT THE PUCK.

SCORED HER HEART, NOT THE PUCK.

Drums waited next to a string quartet. Two altars stood side by side. One traditional Azuvian, blessed by the chief priest with offerings to ancestors. One American, simple cross, flowers, the faith Eden had raised Thane in. We'd say vows at both. Honor both heritages. Become both and neither and something entirely new. "Time to dress," Mom whispered, tears already starting. The gown was a masterpiece. Eden and I had picked it out, and Mom had Azuvian designers add magical touches—creating something that shouldn’t exist but did.

LDR (Lock Down Romance)

LDR (Lock Down Romance)

The wedding was scheduled at ten in the morning so Maan and her bridesmaid had been preparing themselves since early morning. At the church, there were only few people from their relatives, friends and co-workers who were allowed to attend because the church still follows the minimum health protocols subjected by the government. They still should follow physical distancing and wearing of face mask except for the wedding entourage. Gil was already standing in front of the altar wearing his silk, white tuxedo beside him is Mark wearing his light blue tuxedo because blue is the color motif of the wedding. After a while, the procession started with the flower girls and the bible and ring bearers

Dirty Family Secrets

Dirty Family Secrets

They didn't look nearly as happy as her father and his new bride. I was in my military kilt, complete with ribbons and medals. Charlie and the Colonel were co-best men. As we waited in front of the altar for her to appear, I whispered a quick promise to God, swearing absolute love and devotion to my soon to be wife. I had my eyes closed, and when I opened them, she had appeared, dressed in the traditional robes of a Masai woman, bracelets and earring gleaming, with an elaborate necklace covering her throat. It was so stunning it took my breath. Her father, also in traditional dress, escorted her down the aisle

The Elf Who Stole My Heart

The Elf Who Stole My Heart

I wondered what Charlotte did last night to get Morgan to agree to a marriage ceremony so quickly. I followed Elwin to the wolf tribe with doubt in my heart. The marriage ceremony was a rushed affair and wasn't held on a very large scale. Still, everyone who should be in attendance was present. Charlotte was wearing a smooth formal gown made of animal hide. She looked incredibly smug. She purposely approached me, holding onto Morgan's arm. "Did you have a good sleep at the half-elf tribe last night, Minnie? I heard that it was raining heavily. You weren't soaked through, were you?

Command of the Wolf

Command of the Wolf

Wes’s bride-to-be, a true cowgirl at heart, hadn’t wanted her wedding day to be a tux and gown affair, so only the wedding party and Maverick, who was conducting the ceremony, would be in semiformal attire. Even the bride herself planned to sport a pair of bright-red leather cowgirl boots beneath her short, white wedding gown. It was intended to be a fun western-themed occasion, and considering the happy couple were getting officially married—official by human standards—in a traditional ceremony with only Naomi, her future husband, her brother, Jacob, and her fellow tribal members at the Crow tribe res in a few days’ time, dressing up hadn’t been the highest priority.

The Returned Luna

The Returned Luna

The tailor finished her measurements before bringing a long silver-white cloth towards her and laying it across her shoulder. She hummed, “Do you think it's enough?” Raven drew a hand over the fabric, “I think with the right amount of flowers and adornments it'll be perfect. We were lucky they had enough to spare.” Laura frowned, “Isn't this the same material they wear in the temple?” “It is. You and Adolph will be wearing temple robes as it is taking place at a temple.” Laurel chuckled, “How traditional.” “Exactly!”

Unexpected Love

Unexpected Love

"We wouldn't miss it for the entire world." [LEXIE LEWIS] Three weeks later, the historic stone church in the heart of Intramuros was bathed in the warm, golden light of the late afternoon sun. The venue was completely locked down—Yuri and our independent security team had ensured that not a single paparazzi or uninvited camera could breach the perimeter. This day belonged strictly to them. I stood near the front pews, dressed in a soft, elegant lavender silk dress that matched the wedding’s pastel palette. Agatha stood right beside me, looking absolutely dashing in a tailored charcoal suit with a matching lavender pocket square.
