“What, no!” I shouted, my face burning at the saleslady’s suggestion that I could be pregnant, especially in front of my mom.

“Jasmine is purer than a baby lamb, so assume not.” Tyler snickered. I glared at him.
“Please make sure the gowns you bring are modest,” my mom said. “This will be a religious wedding.”
“Of course.” The woman nodded. “Now I understand the rush. It sounds like you’re looking forward to the wedding night.” She winked at me.
