“You’re going to burn this city down, Livia.” Her lips curved in a faint, weary smile. “Maybe it needs burning.” In her apartment that night, Clara stared at the blank page of her notebook. Her hands shook, but the pen moved anyway. They came for me. They’ll come again. But if I stop, they’ve already won. She paused, then added one more line. I will not stop. The words steadied her breathing. She tore the page free, taping it to the wall above her desk. A manifesto against the fear clawing inside her.

“Just tell me…Why are you even doing this?” “You all don’t understand it now but you will. This treaty is all a ploy to keep us all in check, to prevent us from achieving all that we can. We need a leader that would help us all to achieve our potential. I am that fucking leader. My father began this and I would finish his mission” The delusion of this man to think that he was performing some sort of selfless act. He was a villain and somewhere in the back of his brain, he must think that he was performing some kind of service to humanity.

Whatever. As long as I'm not doing anything wrong, they can think what they want. I mean, we're faking it because of your grandfather, but I'm doing this so I can cut ties after paying my dad's debt to you. That's my motivation," Manuela said, patting her own shoulder. "You can do this, Manuela. Ignore the judgmental people; you know you're good," she encouraged herself.

They threw me away. I'm going to prove them all wrong." "Revenge is a powerful motivator," Zane said carefully. "It's not enough to sustain you through what's coming. You'll need something deeper. Something true." He paused. "What did you fight for? When you served the Moon Blessed court?" He was quiet for a long moment, gazing into his tea as if seeing the past reflected there.

He took a deep, bolstering breath, pulled out his phone, and showed me an image— An escape route, plane tickets, and new passports. "I've arranged everything. We're leaving tonight." He clutched my hand, his eyes pleading, stained red with urgency. "Come with me, Harper. I will make up for every single way I failed you." I drew my hand away. "I don't need it." My voice was colder than I'd intended. Joseph's face froze slowly. "Are you out of your mind? What poison has he been feeding you?!"

2 days later~ 3rd Person's POV Motivation is the reason why someone does something and commitment is an unsaid agreement to do something while a word of encouragement plays and important role in both of this. And the three of them together cause two things, an action and a reaction. Just like right now where a group of kabootars idotically encouraged each other to commit to something that's out of their physical and mental capacity. Yet they did and now verbal motivation is what keeping them up.

They hadn't screamed in disagreement yet or cursed at me so I still had a chance to make things right. I banked on that confidence and spoke like I had never done before, baring my heart and soul. “Many people don't know the real reason why I started my own company.” I began. This piqued their interest. “They think it's to make money, well a successful business must make money. But the real reason behind it was because I grew up not having anything. I wanted to be an inspiration for both men and women. I didn't inherit anything from my parents. I had to work for everything I have.”

He laughed maniacally. Jasper shook his head. “So that’s it? You’re willing to waste resources just to get in my way?” Sebastian’s voice dropped to something lethal. “I wouldn’t call it a waste. Watching you struggle is worth every cent.” Jasper’s smirk faded. “What’s your motivation here? I know why I'm doing this—to notch one more achievement plaque to my vision board. Whereas, what's your motivation?” Sebastian smirked. “I owe you no explanation for my actions.” He snarled.

I smile and dismiss him telling him id have my people get with his and finished my paperwork for the rest of the day. The rest of the week, was paperwork and business, nothing eventful happened not until my last day. *My last day* My last day was like any other boring and uneventful. Except I was visited by Mr. Trounce. I stand to shake his hand, “Mr. Trounce what can i do for you today?” he sits in front of my desk in the chair, “Call me Brent. I came to warn you my daughter left the hospital against the doctors orders and is considered a danger to the public they are looking for her but the loss of the baby has caused her to be mentally unstable and i fear she will come after you.”

Think I may have a future in motivational writing. But right now I just needed to stay alive.
