The wolf shook his head vigorously, “I don't, he sends us orders through his second in command, we don't see them either, he communicates through a video call with a mask on. We never met any of them physically" Marcus leaned back on the chair and thought about the story he had just heard, how believable it seemed. “So you've never seen him? Not even for a day" Marcus asked again. The wolf shook his head, his heart racing, he needed Marcus to believe him. He knew no other truth. “You're lying, you keep insisting you're not but I know" Marcus stood up again, he took out the lighter from his pocket and heated the steel iron rod up. Then moving closer he whispered, “This is your last chance"

The silence that followed pressed in, thick and suffocating. Rose swallowed and lifted her head slowly. “What’s going on?” “Did you meet my brother?” I asked. For one brief second, everything stopped. Her breath caught. Her eyes widened just enough. Then she recovered. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” she said quickly. “Why would I meet someone who wants me dead?” A slow smile tugged at my lips as I stepped closer. “Careful, Rose.” My shadow fell over her. “I’m a werewolf. And I’m a mafia lord. Lies don’t survive long around me.”

It angers me to think that my distraction might now cost her her life. I watch as she backs away carefully. But the wolf is not letting this intrusion go. Before he can attack, I jump down and clasp the wolf firmly by its scruff. The wolf struggles for a moment until I lift it up and toss it against a nearby tree. The wolf instantly recovers. He tries to stare me down, but I don’t give an inch. I’m an alpha. I don’t bow down to anyone. I stand there for a minute, maintaining eye contact. The wolf must finally realize that I’m an alpha because it lowers its head in submission. After a few minutes, the wolf runs away. Without another word, I turn back to the girl and face her.

I completed my statement. "Oh my God!!! A bug???" Mr Agent exclaimed. "You're so unpredictable and amazingly smart." Mrs Johnson said unbelievably. I laughed. Yeah right, I'm unpredictable, I'm an Alpha wolf and not any Alpha wolf but the best in my generation. I had a feeling that the wolf will misbehave and want to make a fool of us all so I commanded a bug to disappear to me and it was so, so I placed it on the fool's neck and he disappeared immediately.

AND CONFUSED! I was completely disgusted with myself, I mean… He was a ‘’wolf’’. He was basically a fucking animal! It was weird and twisted and It was just making everything harder to process. I felt so stupid, I remembered the comments the guys made about full moons and wolves and, to be fair, If i really thought about everything, there were plenty of signs that something was off about them all... I just didn’t see it.. Or understand it… now I do. They were fucking WEREWOLVES!
