I looked at Daon and then at Jayden, seeing wide smiles on their faces that didn’t match the situation at all.
“But how?” I asked, confused, since I had been using birth control.
I couldn’t even complete a sentence, but the doctor seemed to answer my question before I could speak.
“Due to your circumstances,” he said, clearing his throat, as though aware of the whole story.
“It would typically be necessary to wait until the twelfth week of pregnancy to conduct a paternity test and determine who the father is, but in this case, that wasn’t necessary,” the doctor explained.
“It wasn’t? So who’s the father?” I asked, still confused.
