Realizing that Valerie felt her gaze begin to dizzy, her consciousness was fading away. Meanwhile Charlotte was standing with a gasping breath, staring at Valerie who was drooping with a part of her body crushed by the sofa that was upside down.

"You did this on purpose. You deliberately found that medical team. You did all this because you wanted... wanted..." "I wanted you to die," I finished her sentence. I still remembered how, in my previous life, Valerie had deliberately crashed into a truck. I thought she loved Eugene so much, but in reality, she only loved the idea of Eugene. Though touching the bullet wound must have caused considerable pain, Valentine showed no signs of discomfort, simply watching what Eugene was doing. Eugene brought his blood-reddened fingers to his mouth and licked them. Still bitter, still sweet. Valentine, who had been quietly watching, took Eugene's fingers, put them in his own mouth, and licked them clean. Then he overlapped their lips. The kiss, filled with blood, was bitter and sweet.
