She nodded, “I would love to meet your boss, someday. It’s hard finding really generous business owners these days” My heart skipped a beat at her statement “You will, mum. Let’s just focus on you getting better now” I said, trying to take her mind off the thought of meeting my boss.

He took a step closer, his presence looming over me like a shadow. “My boss,” he said, the words heavy with an unspoken meaning that I couldn’t quite grasp. I looked completely confused before my boss said, "I am just glad to be able to retire sooner than expected." They both laughed before my boss said his goodbyes and left. "Bo? What is going on?" I asked. Bo chuckled and said, "I can't believe this is your office. I have closets bigger than this." I crossed my arms and rolled my eyes.

I just want a comfortable life for my grandmother. "Isn't it so unfair that we are working so hard just for us to be able to get what we need but there are these people who just breathe and they can do whatever they want." I pursed my lips. You might think I own this place," she explained. I only showed her a nod and a smile. "Have a good day, Ms. Faye," she mentioned my name which she seemed to have seen on my resume. I bowed down while expressing my thanks. I pressed my palms together. "Thank you, Lord, for finally answering my prayers!" I happily said while looking at the sky.
