Your Greatest Mistake Was Me

Your Greatest Mistake Was Me

I'd rather see him slam his fist against the table than look at me with disappointment. For the first time, his favorite son had made a fatal mistake. I hadn't just damaged my marriage and my relationship with House Vermont. My personal failure was turning into a national scandal. What unsettled me most, however, wasn't Father's disappointment. It was Seraphina's silence. I had seen her angry before. Rarely, but it happened. Usually, she would confront a problem directly, dissect it with that frighteningly sharp mind of hers, and somehow find a solution before everyone else.

Her Mistake Became Mine

Her Mistake Became Mine

I knew it was worth keeping an eye on her and some of the photos were not incriminating enough, but I made sure to pick the best ones. I have always hated the Strong sisters and their perfect little family. I always hated how their mother before the accident was a single parent who always made time to be with them and support them when my own while mine always busy for me. I mean they were poor, but they were always happy, yet I had everything, and I was lonely.

Bullied By Mistake, Spoiled By Fate

Bullied By Mistake, Spoiled By Fate

My heart ached with the weight of my decision, but deep down, I knew it was the right one. Amidst the turmoil of emotions swirling within me, a seed of doubt took root. What if Alaric was just like Caleb? What if his kindness and care were merely a facade, a mask to conceal his true intentions? Perhaps, this was meant to happen. Maybe the moon goddess had made a mistake in pairing me with Alaric, a werewolf prince, when I was a nobody. He would have surely rejected me once he grew bored of me.

The Alpha's Greatest Mistake

The Alpha's Greatest Mistake

Perhaps she should have balanced more carefully or trusted herself on every move she made. The more she searched, the clearer the answer became. She had given everything she possessed and there had been nothing left to offer. That realization settled heavily inside her. It was easier to accept failure caused by carelessness than failure caused by limitation. Carelessness could be corrected. Weakness demanded something far more frightening because effort alone could not always erase it. A single blossom landed gently across her lap. She picked it up carefully, studying its delicate white petals beneath the afternoon light. It looked fragile enough to break beneath the slightest pressure, yet

My Delicious Mistake

My Delicious Mistake

Angeli was Hubert's best friend, and I had to get along with her for Hubert’s sake. “I can’t do anything about it now. It’s already happened,” I whispered. “Your family really did you wrong. Imagine, they kicked you out without considering that it’s not all your fault.” “It’s still my fault. I could have said no, walked away, not gone through with the one-night stand, but what did I do?” I really regret not fighting the temptation. I’m not drugged or drunk. I’m sober, yet I made a massive mistake. “Why though? Was the escort that good-looking that you couldn’t say no?” I sighed. That’s not the case.

Beautiful Mistakes

Beautiful Mistakes

He advanced at me. Hesitantly, I took it from him. I opened the box without any guesses. There was a decadent array of fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate— dark chocolate with a milk chocolate drizzle, milk chocolate, in the centre that had little colorful sprinkles and chopped almond nuts. My mouth watered as It looked delicious, " It's my favourite and..." I clamped my lips. 'I can't mention our son, "How do you know?" I asked. I was half smiling, half shocked.

A Hundred Million Mistake

A Hundred Million Mistake

He died the day he got his memory back. The Alpha King Eric of today was worlds away from me. He was the moon in the sky, and I was just worthless dust. He was a big shot in the business world, while I was just a little pebble he’d once stepped on, easily kicked aside. Just like a firefly can never compare to the moon, he was destined to be with an Alpha who shone just as brightly. If that was the case, why make myself miserable? Why be a stumbling block in his path?

MY SWEETEST MISTAKE

MY SWEETEST MISTAKE

People had done worse for far less than he had to offer, for less than the mother of his child would stand to gain. “I don’t know why the mistake happened, I only know that it did,” Michaela stated, her pretty white teeth gritted. “But don’t flatter yourself by thinking I would go to such trouble to tie myself to you just to get money. In fact, don’t flatter yourself by assuming I have any idea who you are.” He barked out a laugh. “It’s hardly flattery to assume that a woman who is presumably well-informed and well educated would know who I was. Unless of course, you’re neither of those things.”

Traci Williams
Story line is great, character development is always spot on. I won’t gush about this one, it’s good, to be fair, but not my favorite from ES. The turmoil in this one is much tamer than what some of her other books have. Was I sad at some points? Yes, but not properly gutted. Call me a sadist. Lol
Arielle Browne
This one was so good. I was certain that I wouldn't like the ending because the book is so short. I thought it would feel incomplete but the author did an amazing job of closing off the book. I feel so filled and satisfied with the story after reading it...

The Billionaire's Royal Princess

The Billionaire's Royal Princess

The truth will always be the truth… and that no matter how hard I tried to hide it, it will always come out to be unravelled to the world. It happened when I made a mistake. I stole one of his favorite books from the shelf and gave it to a friend of mine back in Elementary. The Royal King was so mad back then that I thought he was going to hit me. But his anger subsided the moment I told him everything. I did it because I gave it as a gift to my closest friend at school. And to my surprise, that is all he needs for his anger to be subsided with the wind.

In Three Years

In Three Years

“But both are Nintendo, so the vibe here is still good” “How about books? Do you have a favorite?”, she asks. “Grapes of Wrath”, I answer and her shock over my answer doesn’t go unnoticed. “You”? “The Great Gatsby”, she says. Wow, that’s depressing! “So tragic”, I told her. “Speak for yourself”, she says, and we both laugh again because both books are probably equally depressing! “Favorite movie?” I asked her. “Love, Actually”, she says sadly. “Serious? Isn’t that a little before your time?” I said.
