My Mate, My Killer

My Mate, My Killer

The way my hand started shaking as I tore the envelope and threw it in the nearest garbage bin is real. Alpha Zarion appeared behind me, but my mind is already haywired. His presence just made my heart beat faster. Damn it! Damn it. Damn it. Damn it! “Cassidy! What's wrong, love?” He grabs my elbow and puts both of his hands on my cheeks. “What did you read? Is there a problem?” “Zarion...my grandmother…” I whispered, my mouth shivering. My body is shaking and my throat is as dry as a desert. “My grandmother—”

Heartache in Yellowstone

Heartache in Yellowstone

She places her hand on the stack of books and gives her a sad smile. "Your answers are right here. Your mom...my grandmother recorded her experiences within these pages...Her life wasn't a happy one, Grace. It was full of heartache and abuse...But you...you were loved. She might not have gotten to hold you for very long, but she thought of you always. You were in her heart. My father...your twin brother, and you were her only reason for living. When you read these, you will get angry. You will cry...she didn't escape her capturors. She lived her life in fear. But you will no longer wonder if you read her thoughts," Sam whispers, and my mom's eyes search hers.

I work three jobs *door dash *United supermarkets *nail tech I also have three toddlers. I'm sorry if my updates aren't conducive to your schedule, but I am unable to write more at this time. Constantly being told to hurry is draining my passion for writing. Forming plots takes time.

The book is overall well written. But it’s so darn sad. Im about 1/2 done and need to take a break from all the heartbreak. I now see why it’s named heartache in Yellowstone because man is there ever. I will wait until finished and hopefully they get their HEA.

From criminal to CEO's wife

From criminal to CEO's wife

That afternoon, I took my original English books to my grandfather and asked him to read Shakespeare to me in a pure English accent, and my grandfather's thick accent was especially pleasing to the ear. "Grandfather, read me Shakespeare." I reached out and nudged my grandfather, who was napping in his recliner, but no matter what, I could no longer wake up his old man. Grandfather was gone, peacefully, in his sleep, on the same spring afternoon, under the garden tree, in the same recliner where Grandmother had died, just as Grandmother had that year. Grandfather's hand, pinching the pocket watch, pocket watch, is the grandmother's photo, the photo, grandmother gentle smile, recliner, grandfa

THE BILLIONAIRE'S REGRET, CHASING AFTER ME

THE BILLIONAIRE'S REGRET, CHASING AFTER ME

She looked flustered, glancing at me quickly. I met her gaze, my smile widening. I reached out and took her right hand, slowly intertwining our fingers. My hand was large and warm, offering her a sense of security, just like when we were children and my touch could chase away all her fears. Her panic seemed to subside, replaced by a look of… understanding. She smiled a small, tentative smile, and nodded slightly. "What’s the good news?" Grandma asked, her curiosity piqued. She was watching us, her eyes narrowed, as if she suspected what was coming. "Tell me!"

Bound By Duty, Captivated By Love

Bound By Duty, Captivated By Love

Near midnight, Thea noticed her grandmother stirring, and when she looked closer, her grandmother’s eyes slowly opened. “Grandma?” Thea called, standing by her bedside. Her grandmother’s gray eyes tried to focus until she could finally see Thea’s presence clearly. “The-a?” she said, her voice slightly stiff, making Thea frown. “Are you okay? How are you feeling? Do you need anything?” Thea asked anxiously. Her grandmother only nodded, as if to say she was fine and didn’t need anything, while extending her hand as though asking Thea to hold it.

My Grandfather Avenged Me on the Brutal Carer

My Grandfather Avenged Me on the Brutal Carer

The rats squeaked as they feasted on my flesh. I wept tears of despair as my life slipped away with each ticking moment. Just hours ago, I got off the plane in anticipation and took a deep breath of fresh air. Yet now, I found myself killed and tortured in the cold, damp, tiny basement. Today was my grandfather’s birthday. For his surprise, I spent hours on my knees in the cathedral, offering prayers for his well-being. I even had a crucifix blessed by the pope. I slipped back into the city ahead of time, eager to give him the best birthday gift when he saw me.

CEO's Regret After I Divorced

CEO's Regret After I Divorced

Serena said, sitting beside the bed and leaning close to Grandmother's ear, hoping she could hear better. As she bent forward, the perfect curve of her neck came into view, causing me to swallow hard. Grandmother turned her cloudy eyes and shakily extended her hand. Serena immediately understood, offering her own hand and holding Grandmother's tightly. "I'm here, Grandmother. If you have anything to tell me, I'm listening." Grandmother took a labored breath and began speaking haltingly. I expected her to mention my uncle, but instead, she started talking about the argument between Serena and me.

The Alpha King's Plus Size Mate

The Alpha King's Plus Size Mate

She laughed softly, not in a mean way, but in a kind, gentle way. She walked closer and sat beside the bed. She held my hands in hers. Her hands were a little cold and rough. “I have heard stories of your hard work and chores. I know how it feels.” The simple gesture surprised me. I couldn’t remember the last time someone held my hands like that, without judging me, without making fun of me. The only person who ever did was my grandmother. Thinking of her, tears fell down my cheeks before I could stop them. Linda’s face changed immediately to worry.

It’s a very interesting read. I was surprised when it turned out so mystical. The grammar is off and some words are used wrongly, but it is still fairly understandable. What happened to her mate who came to find her? She seems to have forgotten him completely.
