My Little Pony Princess Luna Nightmare Moon Novels & Stories

‘Dismount,’ Nightmare commands me. Carefully, I slide off his back and step away from him. His body morphs before my eyes. He is no longer the black stallion, but a massive dragon with terrible claws on his front feet. He flaps his wings, and the wind pushes me back onto the ground. Leonidas is standing over me, growling at what used to be his horse, but Nightmare is not fazed. He rises into the air and grabs Leonidas in his claws. I am terrified, and a scream rips from my body. Smoke plums from Nightmare’s nostrils when he gently picks me up from the ground. He is carrying us over the rapids.

The couple exchanged vows, promising to love and protect each other till eternity. As the ceremony comes to a close, the pack begins to howl in celebration, their voices echoing through the forest. The newlyweds join in, their howls blending together in a beautiful harmony. As the night wears on, the pack dances and sings, celebrating the love between Alpha Altan and Luna Esen. It is a night that will be remembered for generations to come, a symbol of the enduring bond between werewolves and the moon.

The siren song, echoing through the walls, chilling my bones. "Luna!" I shouted, racing down the hallway, panic gripping me like icy claws. Finn's voice came frantic from one of the rooms. "Mom!" I burst through the bedroom door, stumbling to a halt at the sight before me. Luna lay on the bed, tiny body shaking violently, her long hair spread like dark silk over the pillow. Her eyes were wide open—glowing softly with a faint, eerie blue-green light—and the song spilling from her lips was ancient, heartbreaking, powerful. She was convulsing, her small fingers clenched tight in the sheets.

The other warriors begin laughing, saying ‘ohhh burn’ to our pack mate. “I guess we’ll see, won’t we Luna?” he asks, smiling. “I guess we will,” she says, smiling her first real smile of the evening. “Lady Luna Malin! Lady Luna Malin!” some sprites say, rushing over to her. “Have you seen our lights?” “Lady Maeve made them for us.” “Do you like them?” “They’re beautiful,” she says, turning away from the warriors and switching into a sweet mode for the sprites. “Did Mari put those flowers in your hair?”

I assume he'll grab me and try to stop me, but he doesn't, and I'm thankful for it. Once I'm out in the dining room, I decide to stand on the porch to take a few deep breaths before facing the staff. I don't even know if I'll find the princess, that bitch, sitting at the table and acting like the Luna of the pack. It's just for a few days, right? Then, I won't have to deal with this ever again. But as I make my way to the dining room, I'm stunned—and horrified—to see the lycan prince seated there, nursing a cup of coffee, and seated right next to him is Lenny, who's going on and on about something I can't hear from where I'm standing.

"So you remember the good parts too." Luna threw her arms around me, sobbing. "It's perfect, Mama. Everything's perfect." After the party, after her friends left and the common room was cleaned, I found Luna on the balcony staring at the stars. She was still wearing the purple dress, now stained with cake and punch, her new bracelet catching moonlight. "Good birthday?" I asked, wrapping a blanket around both of us. "The best. Exactly what I needed." She leaned against me. "Mama, I know I have responsibilities. I know I'm the Crimson Dawn, and I'm supposed to reshape the world. But sometimes I just want to be Luna, who likes chocolate cake and stuffed animals and watching clouds."

Kael replied. “Helpful explanation.” He gave her a small smile. “They tell the story of the Twenty Moons.” Luna ran her fingers across one of the glowing carvings. The moment she touched it, a powerful wave of energy rushed through her. Her vision exploded with light. Suddenly she wasn’t standing in the stone circle anymore. She was somewhere else. A massive sky stretched above her. Twenty enormous moons filled the darkness, glowing in different colors—silver, blue, violet, gold.

"Two drops for the Marriage Merger. And three drops because he tried to play father to my children.” "You’re putting ink in the breakfast." I jumped so high I nearly took out a hanging copper pot with my forehead. I spun around, clutching the whisk like a weapon. Luna was standing there. She was wearing a pair of oversized sunglasses and holding a stuffed unicorn by its horn. She looked like a miniature celebrity trying to avoid the paparazzi at 7:00 AM. "It is... ah... blue vitamins!" I squeaked, my French accent returning with the force of a high-speed collision. "For ze energy! Ze Prince, he is very... depleted."

If this is a ploy for her and her weak boyfriend to gain some power, it won’t work. But Lilith continues in a voice that leaves no room for argument. “You’ve been selected for a divine task. To rule this great kingdom of ours, alongside its future king and ruler.” “No,” I whisper. But no one is listening to me. “No.” “Brynne Rybak, Crown Alpha Prince of Shadowspire,” she says, turning back to me. Her eyes glow, shutting me up before I can utter another word. “The Moon Goddess has chosen Soma to be your Luna. With the moon as our witness, she shall be crowned princess and future Luna of Shadowspire. When the time is right, she’ll rule by your side, slaying rogues and bringing peace to these l

Petra requests and Wanda goes on to give her the details of the dream she had. “Luna, I cannot deny the fact that I have seen a nightmare similar to this play out right before my very eyes; but at the same time, I want you to calm down. The moon goddess will not let any evil befall us.” Petra says, with a far-away look in her eyes. “Amen, and thank you, Petra. But, what did you mean when you said that you had seen something like this play out before now?” “Well, Luna, it is a very long story and I do not think that you want to hear it”
