Nightmare Moon From My Little Pony Novels & Stories

I crouched down to the little girl,, trying to hide panic in my eyes. “No, I didn't. This is my daddy and I'm his daughter!” The girl was pretty confident. Upon a closer examination, I found that she did have Dylan's eyes and lips, but most of her features, particulalry her blonde hair, resembled Cherry. “Is Cherry your mother?” I asked in between gritted teeth, but managed to put on a sweet smile. “Yes. Cherry is my mommy. But you're not supposed to call my mother just by her name! She is the Luna of Starsmoon pack—”

She ignored Roman for a couple of seconds as she pulled off her boots. "Moonmare." She replied, barely aloud. "You're familiar with nightmares right? It's almost the same as this one. The difference is that it isn't night… it's the Moon." Her mind seemed to hover as she rotated the little pointing wood in her palm absentmindedly. "Nightmare ends once dawn comes, but Moonmare doesn't." She regained herself and cackled. "I named it myself." A smug glint appeared in her eyes. "What do you think?"

Quickly, he stands and rushes to his desk, taking a laptop and bringing it to the table, promptly opening it. “Blake, I need to ask. Is this pack called Nightmare Moon?” Atticus asks, turning the laptop to face Blake with the pack mentioned on display, the layout of every building easily recognizable. I shudder, realizing that Nightmare Moon is an ally pack of Alexander and the unease I felt each time I had to visit the pack and meet the Alpha finally explained.

Nikki POV It’s Friday finally! The anticipation has been crazy. Tomorrow I will be 18 and I finally get to meet my wolf! Luna Hope told me that it can actually happen after midnight tonight, depending on the strength of the moon’s pull. That would be awesome truthfully, a midnight run with Kolt. He is a beautiful wolf; black with a partially white muzzle and his eyes… oh my goddess I thought Frankie’s eyes were gorgeous, Kolt’s are next level, a shade of royal blue that is almost electric.

Just to make sure we’re all safe and sound. Mom: (reassuringly) Alright, I’ll pack my gear and head your way. Charlie: (smiling) Thanks, Mom. I knew I could count on you. Mom: (softly) Always. Just remember, the moon is full, and we’re stronger together. Charlie: Don't tell Dad… Yet Mom: Wouldn't dream of it kiddo. Love you. Charlie: Love you too “What did she mean when she said the moon is full and we’re stronger together?” Maya asked.

“That’s appreciated, Elder Harvey.” Harvey beams and turns to me, his excitement barely contained. “You’ll be happy, Luna. The feast will be your formal introduction to the pack. Then, at the Blood Moon Festival, you’ll receive Eliora’s blessing for your union.” His joy rings out like a song. But inside me, a chill takes hold. The Blood Moon Festival. The one Primrose warned me about. The night the Luna goddess weaves her threads. Links true mates. How long does Gerald think he can fool a goddess?

TAE My pack believed that we were special. Hand picked by the Goddess and made protectors. They call it Hwansu in our tongue – Phantom beast. That was before they were attacked and shredded by marauders. If my pack saw me right now, cowering and hiding all because I thought I saw my tormentor, they’ll toast me for shaming our legacy. All because of Ronan fucking Blackwood. “Sunny?” I flinch at the mocking tone in Ronan’ voice and press my back against the wall, praying that the waste bin is large enough to hide my small frame.

The Moon Goddess was my witness; I'd make them pay for every lie. Tomorrow night, the first step of the Moon Eclipse Unbinding would begin. And Kaelen Night-fang would learn he hadn't just lost a mate, but the future of his entire pack.

My heart was beating, fear and rage fighting in me. “The moon,” she said in a voice shaky but certain. “It’s… calling me.” Before I could reply, her eyes snapped shut, and the lunar mark flared to life, drawing a silvery light across the clearing. The ropes holding her shivered and turned into ash. She lurched to her feet, her body shaking but her eyes hard. Rhys fell, his spell broken, his dagger falling from his hand.

The face is familiar… But it’s not my face. It’s the face of Nora Moonblood, Luna of the Moonblood pack. Her beauty is ethereal, with high cheekbones, piercing silver eyes, and cascading silver hair that shimmers in the light. My hands tremble as I touch my reflection, the cool glass grounding me in a reality I can’t comprehend. The memories of my death flood back—Cain’s betrayal, Claire’s cruelty, the loss of my pup. My knees buckle, but I catch myself on the edge of the mirror. The pups' voices call out behind me, their worry evident, but I can’t turn around.
