Alpha’s fury turned into shock when she saw Charlotte in the broad daylight. “Are you a day walker? His Beta was untying her efficiently. She smiled humbly despite of the discomfort, “Yes, Alpha. I was born as a vampire.” She knelt down to thank him, but Alpha pulled her up in his arms. “I was scared that I will be late to save you. You are very good at hiding things, little vampire!” A strange sense of security enveloped her, rapid heart beat was soothed by Alpha’s calming embrace. Immediately, her shyness kicked in and she withdrew herself, standing at a fair distance awkwardly. Alpha’s lips curled up and he asked her to “follow me”.

She locked eyes with me, and she shifted into an impressive gray wolf with green eyes. That was when I knew. She was a hybrid like me: Wolf and vampire. Though by birth, not by bite. She was as rare as I was.

When she was younger, she frequently went on outings with her mother, during which time she got to witness a variety of stunning butterflies. She could still remember like it was yesterday how, whenever her mother sang with her clear voice, silver butterflies would appear out of nowhere. The sight of them always made Miren incredibly happy. These butterflies are called by Miren's mother's beautiful voice, and when the butterflies appear there will be a large swarm.

Initially, I hadn't paid it much heed, dismissing it as a trivial peculiarity. However, now, as her eyes shimmered once more, I couldn't ignore it. Vampires' eye pupil tends to flicker to red when they are hungry for blood, agitated, desirous, or experiencing other intense sensations that could trigger a transformation. The crimson flicker of a vampire's pupils held a profound meaning.

Her voice was small and barely a whisper – the temptation to close her eyes and start her slumber was like a siren’s call for her. Upon her command, a flock of black butterflies immerged from the darkness of her room. They heed their master’s command and from the accumulated shadow within the flock, a floating egg was seen. It was placed under their master’s arms as if she was curling around it – protecting it. With the command being delivered, the flock of Slaughter butterflies entered Cent’s shadow, waiting to be called again – the taste of angel flesh still lingering their predatory instincts.

All glaring down at him with rather nasty expressions on their faces. "HAHA! How ya like that!? You son of a bitch! Allow me to introduce Happy Flower's very angry cousins! Happy flowers two through six! And Bob! And they're ooooh so pleased to meet you!" Vale cackled like a mad scientist. As she laughed heartily to her heart's content the giant reincarnations of Happy Flower began closing the gap. At this point the Vampire didn't even bother putting up airs. Panic was fully displayed across his face. He quickly began glancing side to side looking for a way out. He did see a small gap between them and took the opportunity for a mad dash.

Valeria blocked the blow with her magic and I used that chance to deliver a kick to its jaw. The vampire stumbled backward, but it didn't give up. It charged at me, ignoring Valeria. The moment the vampire was within striking range, it swiped at me, and I ducked beneath its claws. I momentarily let Melody take control, using her powers to hit the beast. Melody's flames shot forth and wrapped around the creature, causing it to stumble back in pain. I watched as it immediately turned into a White ash. I had made sure I striked when Valeria wasn't looking so nobody realized what I just did.

Lily was suddenly shocked, she immediately stopped and jumped away, but Violet's reaction was faster. Bruk dush dush dush.. Violet was already in the direction of the fox's jump and immediately kicked Lily. The fox queen bounced into several trees which immediately fell. "Idiot! You chose the wrong opponent! Well, it's a good thing, the legendary creatures will decrease in number because of you." Even though Violet has wings, she walks over to Lily. "Hahaha you vampire toy dragon! The Ice Queen's magic energy just now was delicious, next it's you I'll absorb!" Its entire body was enveloped in flames, but now the flames took the shape of a fox's body.

Cain doesn’t beg. He doesn’t scream. He only looks toward me one last time, eyes wide—not with fear, but with apology. And then he’s gone. Something inside me breaks so violently it feels audible. “No,” I whisper. Then I hear her. The Vampire Queen’s roar shakes the sky. She stands alone amid the carnage, wings torn, crown shattered, blood running freely down her face as she tears through hybrids with terrifying precision. She is wrath incarnate—ancient, furious, unrelenting.
