Cassandra’s POV I sat back down, swallowing my anger. It was supposed to be my turn at the microphone, and Laura had just butted right in there. But what could I do? I couldn’t exactly tell her no. She was already making her way to the microphone. So I plastered a fake smile on my face and sat back to listen to her little ‘speech’. The moment her first words left her mouth though, my blood froze. “Some people say love is fragile, but I disagree. Why? Because I’ve seen firsthand how strong love really is. The love between Cameron and Stella is unwavering, unbreakable, and the furthest thing from fragile you can possibly imagine.”

“My reaction to what I found out made me realize just how fragile I am. I don’t like it!” I shook my head. “You are not fragile, my love. You have emotions just like everyone else but your emotions don’t make you fragile. You are strong!” I told him. “If I am really strong then why is the thought of telling you what I found out making me feel funny again?
