Her father looked between them. “Wait… you two know each other?” Adriel crossed his arms. “Unfortunately.” Miranda laughed lightly. “That’s wonderful! You already know each other.” Wonderful? Nyla felt anything but wonderful. This couldn’t be happening. The masked mafia lord. Her high school bully.
