Mom gasped, and I sighed. "Not them," I lied, lowering my head, and my mother came over to meet me. "Mia, you can have more than one mate, but in most cases, we do have one mate in this pack. But I know of a woman who has two mates, and some do date two to three men at a time. They call them their mates, and the mates all understand and don't get jealous. They love the woman, treat her equally, and also mate with her too. It's a reverse harem stuff. But why are you asking me about that? If it's not about Triple L, then it's about who?" Mom's eyes curiously peered at mine, and I sighed.

I needed to feel her, and it was consuming my every thought. ​"She is my mate," Orion growled at Silas in our mental link. ​"She is my mate," he growled right back at me. ​Well, that sucks. We both have the same mate. That probably meant she was also fated to Alaric. It is rare for identical triplets to be born, but in the few cases we read about, some did share one mate. Karla's Pov “Mate.” They all said in unison. I blinked once, twice, thrice, momentarily forgetting the pain. Mate? What did they just say? Mate? Who is their mate? Alpha Darwin? Alpha Darwin was their mate? That can't be, they just killed him, his body was on the ground. Or were they trying to claim a dead body as their mate? This was crazy. I felt like a character in a horror movie as I recalled the triplets calling me their mate earlier. "No, no, no," I protested wildly. "A-Are you sure?!" I spluttered desperately. There had to be some sort of mistake somewhere, I was convinced. How could I be mated to the triplets?! The same people who had made it their life mission to torment me in the worst ways possible. They just couldn't be my mates. They couldn't be the ones the moon goddess had bestowed upon me! "Mate!" Cora continued to insist.

I don't know the exact science behind it, but we asked around a bit and the general consensus is that twins, and even triplets, can all find themselves mated to the same person," Tyler went on, sounding very knowledgeable on the subject for someone who had been completely oblivious only hours ago.

Riley said, rolling her eyes, “I’m fine going back to my pumpkin pie.” Mateo gave a snort. That connection can come across even if you weren’t marked. I know my Aria will feel it with Ford eventually. And I’ll feel it with whoever her male mate is.
