Fuck, she makes me feel everything. "It is indeed a good morning," I say wrapping more of her wild hair around her ear so I can see her face better. "Sorry, I fell asleep," she says. I'm not sorry. I didn't want to get into her Dad's allegations last night and even though she wasn't happy about it she asked me to read her the book she had grabbed off my book shelf. One of my favorites. It's a mystery novel about two mates who find each other while they are both trying to catch the same serial killer that's on the loose.

I wake up the next morning with my head buzzing. I had been up most of the night trying to figure all of this out. None of it made sense. It's not fair, on the crime shows and on the mystery books all of the pieces fit together perfectly if you really think about it, why doesn't this? Stupid life, it's time to be more like a book.

My thoughts kept drifting, pulling me away from the plot and back to the darker corners of my mind. The book was one of those suspenseful thrillers, full of secrets and betrayals, the kind of story that would normally have me hooked. But every twist on the page only reminded me of the real-life twists that had unfolded recently. Every deceit, every bit of violence written so neatly in these chapters felt uncomfortably close to home.

I sat beside her, and she immediately stretched her legs back out, her feet landing in my lap. "What are you reading?" She held up the book without looking away from the page. "A mystery novel. A detective in Victorian London." I caught sight of the cover. A woman in a low-cut dress leaned against a man in a top hat, their faces inches apart in the fog. The Scarlet Letter Murders. I grabbed the book from her hands. "Hey!" She sat up, reaching for it. I flipped through a few pages. My eyes landed on a passage. His mouth found the hollow of her throat as his fingers worked the laces of her corset…

The author that Leo and I had talked about during dinner. One of my favorite authors of all time. Her work are just so mind blowing, captivating and able to touch the sould and keep a person hooked to her book. And she has over more than twenty books published. I wanted my book to do this to a person too, to captivate their minds and understand the concept of it all, I'll get there soon. I cracked it open and began to read, the story pulling me in instantly. My fingers curled around the edge of the book as I lost myself in the chilling tale of secrets, lies, and suspense.

Selena sat in front of her MacBook, typing furiously as she continued writing her latest mystery novel. She had always been passionate about writing ever since she was a little girl and had often imagined herself as a famous author in her own right. The book she was currently working on was a murder mystery set in a small town in Maine. The protagonist was a young detective named Lily who was trying to solve the mysterious murder of a wealthy businessman. As Selena wrote, her imagination ran wild, crafting plot twists and cliffhangers that would keep her readers on the edge of their seats.

We became best friends, 'sisters' she called us. Isabella is a very talkative person. She love stories and reading is her passion, maybe that is why she is so good at her job. She is a publishing agent with lots of fans. Anything from Sci-Fi to Rom-Com. She is a multi genre girl, she sometimes called herself that. One would think that it made her non-social, but on the contrary. She loves a good gathering and is as much an adrenaline junky as the next sporty and outgoing, adventures person.

The dim, golden light from the chandeliers above created pools of light and shadow, adding to the library’s timeless atmosphere. I searched diligently, combing through the aisles dedicated to ancient mysteries and the occult. The titles were intriguing yet obscure, written in languages I could barely decipher. Just as despair began to settle in, my eyes caught sight of a section labeled "Ancient Mysteries of the Wolf Race." My heart leaped with hope as I approached the section, quickly pulling out a few volumes.

Author’s POV: Next day all was going good, classes were going on inspector Isaac and John and others were working in their police station. All of a sudden, the electric lights began trembling. The occurrence kept happening for ten to fifteen seconds and then it was ok. Some people got frightened and all got curious. “This happened after eleven years, the same as before”, Isaac told in presence of John and another officer. They looked at each other. Students of a class started whispering. Seeing that the lecturer ordered to stop and again began to give his lecture. Lusie looked her left-right and it was ok few persons there steered each other.

That right there is the only reason he wasnÕt buying into the idea that she was hiding something, that and the fact that theyÕd found nothing to confirm such suspicions. He was beginning to wonder more and more as the day went by just what was happening to his town. In the space of a few months, thereÕve been two murders when there had never been one in his whole lifetime. Not only that, but neither murder had been of the ordinary garden variety. Both had been gruesome and way over the top as far as he was concerned.
