"You're in Mystic Hollow, December 21st, 2033," a voice said from her back said as she turned back seeing a very familiar face. "Sarah!" She exclaimed as nothing became to make sense at all.

I glanced all around, but there was no sign of the mystic. Confused and slightly alarmed, I swam over to Veronica and Julian to join their conversation. Likely my face was giving away my tumult of emotion. “What happened?” Veronica asked, just as Julian asked, “Are you okay?” “I don’t know,” I admitted, and then told them both what had just happened regarding the merfolk mystic. “She approached you?” Julian asked, when I had finished, even though I had just told him the full story. Surprise widened his features.

After eating, Troy picked up his phone and reread the message from the mysterious sender. 'Hmm... early tomorrow morning,' he mumbled, tapping the table as he thought it over. There wasn't a single person he could trust right now, not even his grandfather or grandmother. He didn't know who was friend or foe anymore. 'I'll handle this on my own,' he decided. He noticed several missed calls from Sarah. [Sorry, love. I'll call you after I'm done here. It's too complicated right now.] Troy managed to send a message to Sarah. Tonight, he needed to focus on what was to come.

“They’re dropping... something. Strange items, small black canisters. They explode with this thick, strange mist—like smoke, but it’s not.
