They were not falling because I couldn’t keep the contents of my stomach but because of how violent Faye died when I was sure that she didn’t do anything to hurt the person responsible for her death. “I will be.” I said with a gruff voice and when I stood up, I glanced at Faye once before I focused all my attention on the Nisse. “As anybody gone to tell her people yet?” I asked and when the Nisse shook her head I continued. “Someone should go and get her people and they will do the burial here afterwards, her ashes will be spilt in two, one part will be for her people at home and the other part will be to be placed in the resting place of the royals long gone.” I said as murmurs arose.

Helpless, the nurses had to help Frank get to the ICU, where Faye listlessly laid in bed, her breathing labored. Faye lifted her head and looked at the door when she heard it opened. She thought it was Charmine with her antidote, but she was instead greeted with the sight of a nurse helping Frank to get in. “Brother…” Seeing him, Faye felt wronged. She began to pant and wail, “Brother… I’m about to die. I don’t want to die! I’m only twenty-one… I don’t want to die…!”

The entire time, I was thinking about my baby and how close we both came to dying. Faye's voice broke as she recalled how Nolan and Anna died. Even if she did despise them, their deaths were not something she found pleasure in. Nolan was someone she once loved, before all the abusive madness. Surely there had been some good in him once. Sybil shifted closer to her on the sofa and wrapped her shawl tighter around her shoulders. Her cup of chamomile tea, stood steaming on the table, but she had no desire to even taste it. All she wanted to do, was sleep and forget this night ever happened.

"It doesn't matter to me if you are telling the truth. You said it yourself, that woman is no longer alive. Why would I compete with a dead person?" She laughed in disdain, got into her car, and drove away. Nick shouted angrily outside, but she ignored him. It wasn't until Faye's car had gone far away that Nick spat and chuckled darkly with the box in his hands. "Faye, don't be arrogant. You will regret it one day!"

There was nothing catchy or interesting about this girl. She had been fired from her previous jobs for different reasons. That was suspicious.
