It was the last week before graduation and I didn't really see the point in going but I went and the only thing that was different was that Rylee wasn't there. Carson and JD still glared at us and I saw that they got their dragons too. I caught a glimpse of Carson's indigo dragon and JD's green one. He must be so pissed off that he didn't get a blue one since he was Carson's second in command. The look in their eyes said that they thought my own gray dragon were beneath them and I only smiled to myself with that realization.

When Frederick sat beside her, she showed him the picture. Two dragons sat on opposite sides of a dark storm cloud. One dragon was purple, the other blue. Both had tears coming from their eyes. “They can’t find each other,” Mia explained sadly. “The storm is too big, and they’re both lost and scared.” “Tell me about the dragons,” Frederick said gently. “The purple dragon told the blue dragon they were family, but the blue dragon didn’t believe her. So now they’re both alone, and the purple dragon thinks maybe she was wrong about being family, and the blue dragon thinks maybe he was mean for not believing her.”

She looked at the dragon and was captivated by his strong muscled body and iridescent scales that glinted off the light.
