Kiara’s POV The invisible force held me in place, pressing down on my limbs, making it impossible to move. The blond man’s grin widened as he stepped closer, his fingers twitching with power. “Nice try, gorgeous,” he murmured, his voice dripping with amusement. “But you’re not going anywhere.” I struggled, my body trembling as I tried to break free, but the magic was too strong, wrapping around me like a serpent tightening its grip. Then—a sudden crack.

Her canines bared, and her clawed nail pressed against my throat. "You're dead," She said with a triumphant smile, and I couldn't help but return it as we broke out into a fit of laughter. "You're nuts. You know that?" I teased, pushing her off of me. "It's always the crazy ones who make it in this world. Remember that Apollo." As she began to heal herself. I watched as her magic sputtered out from beneath her fingertips. How her skin seemed to pale, and the light in her eyes flickered before she collapsed to the ground.

She ran her hand over her face to wipe of the swear and leaned forward and took a deep breaths. "Elemental magic tends to drain me faster." She shivers and let out a breath as she brought the blanket closer to her body. "I'm sorry Nicole I may have broken the heater on my way here," Darius confesses. She shrugs and lays back down to warm herself up using her own heat.
