I could see the gears turning in his mind, as if he was calculating the next move, trying to figure out how he fit into this puzzle of revenge I was laying out. He took a deep breath, his eyes narrowing slightly. “So, since you’ve made up your mind about this revenge thing,” he said, his voice calm, but I could sense the weight behind his words. “Do you have a plan to accomplish it, or are we flying blind here?” I hesitated for a moment, then nodded. “I have a plan… sort of,” I admitted, biting my lip. “Before I was reborn, the Moon Goddess told me a few things. She gave me some guidance, a path to follow.”

“Oh! Right. Of course.” She looked at me suspiciously. “Are you okay? You don't look well.” She approached and placed her hand on my forehead, checking my temperature. I forced a smile and shook my head. “I'm fine. Can you tell him I'll be there in a minute, please?” “Sure. Take your time and look good for your baby, girl.” She winked, then she stepped out of the room. My heart thumped nervously as I headed to my wardrobe and opened it. Despite my determination to pay him back, nerves racked me. It was the first time I’d ever sought revenge against someone.

I am sorry buddy! I didn't know he would go to this length to take revenge", But Joshiah wasn't willing to hear any apologies or excuses, he angrily interrupted his sentence.
