I stuffed some into my moth and Devin decided to ask a question. “Isn’t this like a continuation of Naruto?” I turned to him and a smile crept on my lips, he had no idea how happy I was that he enjoyed anime too. “You watch Anime?”

Even though he was saying funny words, there wasn’t a hint of smile or laughter on his face. “Are you seriously quoting Nagato from Naruto?” One of the tied men joked and let out a painful chuckle. The other one smiled awkwardly with his swollen lips. “Yeah, and I’m happy you’ve seen Naruto, now I’m going to show you what Nagato really meant.” Nick replied furiously, he stabbed the man on his lap then twisted the knife, the sound of flesh tearing apart and the splash of blood was covered by the man’s outrageous yell. “Who fucking sent you?” Nick yelled back, ignoring his painful screams.

“Sorry. I’m just so glad to see you.” “Yeah, I can tell,” Nathan says with a wince, rubbing his shoulder. “What are you doing here? How did you even get here? Your base is all the way over there.” “I used the Cloak of Invisibility. Not Harry’s but Naruto’s.” Kate does a double take. “You watch Naruto, too?” “Duh. And…” Nathan digs into one of the cargo pockets of his lower fatigues. “Ta-da!” he says, revealing two arm bands, both of them red. Kate’s eyes bulge.

By her right-hand side, she could see a silver-haired man with a crown on his head, holding a green jewel in hand, and on the other side is a man in a hat, having a scarred face and stripes all over his neck.

Finding a suitable angle, she sat down and started sketching the characters. Toph stood behind her, watching intently. Arya had a deep foundation in drawing, so she had managed to outline the basic features quickly. With some refinement, the two characters greeted them back on paper. At a glance, it was also obvious she had drawn them based on Chris and Lena! Zuko and Lina praised her, but Toph pointed out a few places with a frown. Arya had tried modifying those spots several times, but she could not get them right no matter what.

There, hidden behind a curtain of weeping carbon-fiber vines, was a small, dilapidated shack. "What is this?" I asked. "The only place the grid can't see," Xander said. He pulled back the vines, and I saw a wall covered in jagged, hand-drawn charcoal sketches. I gasped. The sketches weren't of buildings or machines. They were of us. There was a drawing of a man and a woman standing in a mountain of gold; a drawing of a girl with a wooden ring; a drawing of a man with orange eyes holding a woman in the rain.
