Gently, I reached out to Scott’s hands on the shirt collar and released his hands from my shirt. “ Put your guns down. I am not here for this” my eyes rolled towards the other men. Scott scoffed, his breath; a mixture of anger and mockery . “ I thought you're a deadly man. Never imagined you'd ruin the war that was just about to begin after you killed Alpha Duncan. You're just a weakling, Natheniel. I'm quite disappointed” Scott spat those words at me like a disease.

One could only imagine how much hatred Nathan felt in his heart. At twelve midnight, the large antique clock in the house started ringing, but Nathan was not asleep yet. He couldn’t fall asleep! Nathan was waiting for his son, Gerald, to call him and tell him that Scott’s murderer had been killed. The phone finally rang. It wasn’t Gerald’s number. {Nathan's POV} The next morning, I woke up on the bed alone with Ghino's pillows lying on the floor. After putting them back, I quickly jumped out of the bed and descended to the first floor to help everyone with the final preparation for the battle against Victor and his wolves. "How's everything?" I asked Scott when he was the first wolf who greeted my eyes the second I hopped out of the elevator. "Everything's ready, Prince Nathan. Have you checked about any updates from Roger?" Scott asked back.

Nathan cannot understand Gordon action. “Because Gordon is Gordon… you know what I mean right? She is breaking his wall down but she still have a long way to go” Scott replies to Nathan with a smirk

I didn't do anything wrong. "As I asked, what are you doing here? You were specifically told to_" "I fucken know my duties, Scott," Nathan snarled back, moving a foot or two closer, their hard gazes fixed at each other now, as if in a cold war. That enchanting smirk was wiped off to be replaced by what? Coldness?

Now Nathan is the only one who should talk to Scott now. After a few more moments, Nathan arrived, holding two tray of foods. One for mine and one for him. Scott looked up to him, before avoiding his gaze. I could see that Nathan wants to say something even though he’s still shocked, he just couldn’t. Scott already stood up, looking at me before bidding his farewells. “Bye, Nat. See you later.” “Wait... You don’t have to leave yet,” I stated.
