Nathan's voice was light, his smile thinly veiled, hand extended in greeting. Jethro's eyes seared into the hand resting on my shoulder, his glare scorching. Brushing off Nathan's gesture, Jethro said icily, "Who are you? Why are you here?" Seeing Jethro's hostile demeanor toward Nathan, I felt my mood lift slightly. "Nathan Redfield, General Manager of Nexus. Mr. Jethro, we are bound to cooperate in the future." Despite Jethro’s frigid attitude, Nathan's demeanor remained cordial.

Nathan grunted, “he was slinking around the border.” “And you didn’t kill them on sight?” Dmitri sounded just as agitated as was with Caleb earlier. “He’s the most cowardly omega I’ve ever seen in my life,” Nathan growled back at him, “I’m not about to kill someone that drops to their knees in submission, begging to only be allowed to live long enough to deliver the message they were entrusted to deliver.” “Seriously,” Sophia’s nose scrunched up, “then why not just take him down to the cells instead?”

Nathan: “I’m sorry, Mr. Ford. I’m just a teacher. Mr. Wilson will take care of it.” Without giving Mr. Ford a chance to beg for mercy, Nathan left the room. After a few minutes, Owen caught up with him, and once he had his attention, he said, “Nathan, I’m a Green Horn here, but I gave you what you wanted. Aren’t you going to give me something in return?” Nathan put his hands in his pants pockets and asked, “What do you want?” Owen: “Can I ask anything?” Nathan: “Spit it out. She had managed to reach into his soul and now she wanted to just discard what they had all because of a fucking job. “My mother had it worse. My father watched Octavio and his men rape my mother. At the mention of my name, the remaining soldiers immediately put their guns out like one who had seen an enemy. Gently, I reached out to Scott’s hands on the shirt collar and released his hands from my shirt. “ Put your guns down. I am not here for this” my eyes rolled towards the other men. Scott scoffed, his breath; a mixture of anger and mockery . “ I thought you're a deadly man. Never imagined you'd ruin the war that was just about to begin after you killed Alpha Duncan. You're just a weakling, Natheniel. I'm quite disappointed” Scott spat those words at me like a disease.

Scott had a bright future ahead of him, and he was very likely to surpass Earth rank to become a Telekinetic Grandmaster. Nathan didn’t expect such a genius to die so suddenly. One could only imagine how much hatred Nathan felt in his heart. At twelve midnight, the large antique clock in the house started ringing, but Nathan was not asleep yet. He couldn’t fall asleep! Nathan was waiting for his son, Gerald, to call him and tell him that Scott’s murderer had been killed. The phone finally rang. It wasn’t Gerald’s number. Instead, it belonged to one of the grandchildren Nathan didn’t usually pay much attention to.

{Nathan's POV} The next morning, I woke up on the bed alone with Ghino's pillows lying on the floor. After putting them back, I quickly jumped out of the bed and descended to the first floor to help everyone with the final preparation for the battle against Victor and his wolves. "How's everything?" I asked Scott when he was the first wolf who greeted my eyes the second I hopped out of the elevator. "Everything's ready, Prince Nathan. Have you checked about any updates from Roger?" Scott asked back.
