Blake had held a little hope for Sadie, but all his hopes were now gone. He lowered his eyes. There was a self-deprecatory look in them. "You don't remember me, do you? "Do you remember helping a boy in a wheelchair fifteen years ago, on the night of New Year's Eve?" Sadie frowned as she tried to remember. Her memory went back more than a decade. It was New Year's Eve that night. Sadie's mother had not gotten sick yet, and they were managing to get by. Her mother wanted Sadie to buy some drinks back home. Sadie saw a group of kids bullying a young boy in a wheelchair outside the supermarket.

I touched the ends of my new hair, heart light. “Cheers to new beginnings.”

Vivian's face darkened, and she quickly signed her name. "Don't regret this," she said. Regret? I looked at Nancy and saw the indifference on her face. It was the same coldness she had inherited from Vivian. Even the disgust in her eyes was the same. Everything was so obvious now. There was nothing to regret. I put away the divorce agreement and turned to Nancy. "No one will ruin your New Year's Day celebration anymore. I won't bother you anymore, either." No one knew how I had gotten through those six New Year's Days. While everyone else was preparing to spend the New Year's Day holiday with their families, I sat there holding a cold lawsuit filing and reading through it page by page.

It felt like the beginning. End

I nod my head in response and look straight, feeling the plane taking off slowly from the ground. We were finally leaving this place behind. I took this chance and look out of the window, admiring the beauty of my hometown. “Goodbye,” I say softly, placing my palm on the window and feel a tear roll down my cheeks. Mom grasps my hand and says, “Don’t worry. You will make many friends in New York. Don’t think about what happened anymore okay?” I gave her a sad smile and look away. Never look back at this place again and move on. This will be my new beginning. I repeat this in my head a hundred times before I drift off to sleep wondering what my future will be li

I tried to look over it, to read it for myself, but Death only pulled the scroll closer to himself, as he rolled it back up. "A kingdom known as Remmadon Kingdom. You wouldn't happen to know what all of this about, now would you?" he asked, and my face paled. "He's starting?" I whispered, getting up from my seat. Death must understand what I'm hinting at, because he snaps his fingers, and copies of himself surround us in a circle. He speaks in a strange language, nothing I've ever heard before, and his copies nod, disappearing into bits. "I have to go." I tell Death, and I get up, running away from there.

Dea, who was lying on the bed, suddenly felt the urge to turn on her phone, which was previously turned off. For some reason, something was bothering her. The flat device, once lifeless, was now brought back to life by the woman. She gazed at the screen with an expressionless face, assuming there was nothing there. However, her assumption was wrong. There were several messages and calls from an unfamiliar number. Yet, Dea knew it was Mr. Bad. She immediately started reading the messages.

Since, I don’t particularly enjoy the taste so why prolong the undesirable taste when I can get it over with and still have fun. “ To new friendships and new beginnings.” Christain raises his glass to us and is staring at me the whole time as he says this. We all cheer and shoot the drink. I feel the burning sensation down my throat into my stomach. This makes shot number four and I am starting to feel the effects. “ Come on Alex! Let’s go dance.” I grab her wrist and start scooting out the booth. “We are coming!” Daniel jumps to his feet followed by Christian.
