BUNGLED
“What about our girl witness?”
“She's gone down and back to her province.”
“I still don't know her name,” said JC.
“It's Becky Roberts, JC.”
“Becky Roberts?”
“Yes.”
They went back to the group. Tibetan tea was served as a starter. There was food prepared by the locals: one was rice buckwheat bread, curried potatoes, and fried yak meat, and bunches of tropical fruits. These were displayed in the middle of a large table situated in the middle of the Ashram. To down it all, the locals had chilled an unlimited number of bottles of raksi, a kind of distilled rice beer, which the locals called chang wine. Everything was a new experience for all the guests.
