Still, I wasn't sure if it really happened or if it was all in my imagination because of the lack of sleep. I worked 3 weeks in a row without any rest. When I finished cleaning up the radio station, I was rushed to the bakery I was already late for. After that, I came home, slept for around 3 hours then went to late-night classes. And because I can't afford school I got a job there as a night guard. I lock up every night, checking every door and window, I do a usual check-up perimeter, and I "rest" at the station, looking at the cameras.

Now, I couldn't even close my eyes, not to talk of having my night rest in peace. Maybe I should have just called that James detective in the morning. But again, that would have wasted a lot of time because most of these detectives carry out underground jobs at night, so I would have waited until the next time the sun went to bed before getting an update. I was so cooked. My eyes dimmed. It was getting more and more difficult to keep them open. But a resolution to finish what I started kept me active, but even then nature had a way of always winning.

"Would it be alright if I visited a couple of the kids up until their bedtime?" "Well I'd have to say that that's not up to me to decide. I'm just here to guard the gate to check who goes in and out." "Sort of like a gate list then?" "Along the lines of that yes." "How long will your shift be?" IN the middle of the night, Jennifer peeked into the living room. She sensed if anyone was still awake at that time. It was one a.m. so the maids were probably sleeping well. She slowly approached Jennelyn's room to see if she was still awake. Next was Edwin's room. She walked in tiptoes so as not to create noise. "Buddy, get us a drink first to relieve sleepiness." The guard ordered his companion. Only the two of them were awake every night to keep watch of the mansion.

I slowly walked towards the hospital while trying to fight off my sleepiness, I couldn't let sleepiness win especially since I was transferred to the night shift. I could already see the tall hospital building and the people in the waiting area, the ambulance at the entrance to the ER, and the families crying and taking care of the paperwork for the morgue. It's all of a sudden," I replied then he checked my bag and gestured for me to be okay.
