I'm excited and nervous all in one. Deciding to distract myself with work, I pick up more orders and see the one on top and roll my eyes. We get orders from this guy almost twice a week. Always two dozen white roses. They never have a note on them. Just the name, B. Smith, and it goes to a different woman every time.

There was one solitary, big book on a low table between them. He didn't move as his eyes met hers. "The consent is the matter at hand. It must be freely bestowed, not coerced, and whispered three times into the skin of his throat." “Do you have any idea what sort of story you're going to be reading me tonight?”

"Yeah, I promise, but you gotta tell me about yourself too." I smirked. "That's fair." And so, we were back to normal again. All it took was a simple apology. I feel stupid for avoiding him when it was just that easy to fix it. After classes ended, Black went home immediately, so club was pretty uneventful. Princess didn't come by either, saying she was gonna get pretty busy because she had to design a new outfit for a competition. As I was on my way to the school's gate, a couple of papers flew my way. They were coming from above, and when i looked up, I noticed a girl at one of the classrooms on the 3rd floor. She saw me and immediately hid herself.

After saying this, Zoey left without looking back at Adrian, who stood there in shock. She was truly exhausted. Seeing Adrian again, her heart no longer raced—there was only calm. After ninety-nine times, her heart could no longer be stirred. For the next few days, Adrian didn't try to find her. It was a Novel by Ana huang famous author for the twisted series, it was Twisted hate and the open page was one the steamy hate sex scenes between Jules and

I made my way to his room, which was right beside the study, and walked in, searching as fast as I could for a key. I found a bunch of keys in his drawer and decided to try everything until one of them miraculously opened the freaking door. I tried the first key. Nothing. “Stupid key!” I muttered in annoyance and tried the second key, with the same results. There were about sixteen keys in this bunch and none of them were opening the damn door. I stared at the last key in my hand like it was my salvation. Then I pushed it in and turned the lock. Static. It still didn't work. I groaned in frustration and leaned against the door, ready to cry when the door pushed open and I fell in.

The old woman's words hung in the air long after she said them. "The Bride of the Ninth Life has returned." Nobody moved. Not Kai, Not Draven, Not even the servant. The whole courtyard had turned to stone around me, and I stood in the middle of it, shaking, with no idea why a stranger kneeling on cold marble made me feel like the ground had opened under my feet. Ninth life?? What did that even mean? I looked at Kai. His jaw was tight enough to crack. I looked at Draven. For the first time since I'd met him, he wasn't smiling.

I was on my eighth shot, downing burning alcohol down my throat, repeatedly adjusting my boobs so my cleavage could pop in this bandage dress while my eyes searched for the perfect candidate. I was on my ninth shot when I noticed them. Three men at a table, exuding wealth, power, and class. I narrow my eyes on the first man, and a deep familiar feeling crawls into the pit of my stomach. Dressed in a white undershirt and a coffee brown suit that made his golden brown eyes pop under the light, with a tattooed hand that made me wonder if he had his whole arm inked. When those brown eyes meet mine, my breath hitches in my throat.

Suit pouted childishly at Anderson, and continued, “Do we have a deal, Mr. Anderson?” Anderson stared back and forth between Suit and the scroll. His mind was racing. The contract sounded simple enough. Straightforward, but he did not understand. ‘What did he mean by survive ten stories? Did he not say I was going to tell a story? What does survive the story mean?’ Question after question popped up into his head. He could not help himself. He had no idea exactly what it meant, but one thing was for certain; He would not move forward if he did nothing but constantly question the situation.

And as fate would have it, the poor fool she set her sights on was none other than Brandon. Despite all his declarations of love for me, Brandon didn't resist when his first love practically threw herself at him. In the end, his first love turned out to be the death of him—he ended up infected with the STD as well. Brandon couldn't accept that his life was ruined just like that. In a fit of rage, he hacked Nina to death. The story concluded with Nina stabbing Adrian and Brandon killing Nina. One was dead, one was wounded, and one was sent to prison.
