Not yours to reject

Not yours to reject

I don't feel humiliation. I feel that same pull, quiet and patient, sitting right where it was last night. "This is insane," I whisper. "Probably." "I don't even know you." "No," he agrees. "You don't." "Yesterday I had a mate. Today I have a bag packed to leave my whole life behind and a strange Alpha telling me the universe picked someone new for me before the last rejection even finished bleeding." Something shifts in his face, the first real crack in that careful stillness. "I'm not asking you to accept it right now. Alpha Caius and the Runaway Luna

“Marjorie pushed at what she wrongfully thought was my weakness and expected me to bow, but I don’t bow.” His lips curled up at the sides as he flashed me one of his rare smiles. “You push back.” “Yes,” I exhaled. “I push back.”

I haven't yet started this book, but anything that comes from JaneDoe is top tier. I can no tell you the excitement I felt when I saw that you started another story, one that already has 55 chapters! I swear one day you'll be a big time author or producer for movies and TV, guarantee you'd be a hit!
