His Deadly Mate: Book 2 of The 'His' Series

His Deadly Mate: Book 2 of The 'His' Series

I smirked. Thalia’s eyes shifts down and when she looks back up, she says, “Okay.” I think she might be upset I haven’t said anything. It’s the rules. I can’t break it no matter what. She will understand once I explain it. “Baby, listen to me. First shifts suck the most. It hurts and there isn’t much you can do about it. The easiest way to get through it, is to not fight it. Let it happen. It shouldn’t take more than a couple of minutes. With Nyx’s warning earlier though, I don’t know what to expect.” I said to her.

Still Loving You Nonetheless

Still Loving You Nonetheless

Putting down the cup on the bedside table, Meredith had no intention of leaving the room. Seeing how she remained still, Josiah frowned and asked, "Anything else?" It was not like her at all, showing up in his room at this time. She used to avoid running into him and would never take the initiative to show up in front of him. "Sir, let me give you a massage." "Why? Does massaging help to improve my sleep?" "Indeed. I know a few moves that would help." She then added, "Drink the milk first and then lay on the bed facing down."

I have read many novels like this, you won't see the writer name or any details but you can guess, Asian/Chinese style. Same plot/storyline and character, stupid brainless abuse but Powerful husband, scheme jealousy half/step sister or mother, weak wife

Once Upon a Full Moon

Once Upon a Full Moon

I either worked or slept, there was little time or money for such frivolous activities as reading. Elias sits next to me and opens the book, directing me to the index. “Here,” he says and points to a heading halfway down the second page. “Shifting,” he says aloud. I look at the sub-headings, one of which is, ‘How to prevent the shift.' I turn to the page and start to read. There are only two paragraphs. ‘In case of an emergency, if a wolf needs to prevent the full moon shift, they can take a herbal tincture made from Hemlock, Monkshood and Nightshade on the morning of the full moon.

This is a good book. Good story line but a note for the author. You need to work on emotions… make me feel what’s going on.. how they are feeling. You are one of the better authors I’ve read on this platform just need more depth to the characters

I really enjoyed this book - it’s like unraveling a series of presents - the story telling is amazing, the FL and ML are both strong, intelligent and - a rarity in most of this kind of novels - communicate to each other! No unnecessary drama, no drawing on - congratulations to the author!

The Forgotten Vow (MM Romance)

But the week after the note arrived under our door, his awareness became a heavy weight. It started with his sleep. Shen had been a reliable sleeper since he was a toddler, down at eight, out until morning. He loved his routine: his stuffed wolf, his blanket setup, and the blue nightlight glow on the ceiling. He used to drift off with total peace, trusting the walls around him completely. That week, the routine broke.

The Deal

The Deal

Sierra ran her fingers through her hair as she crawled under the light cover beside him. “Fair enough. Why have the TV on at all if you want to fall asleep though?” Roman wrapped an arm around her waist and tugged her closer to him as he slid lower in the bed. “I used to have a hard time falling asleep in the mornings after a double or night shift, eventually I bought opaque curtains and trained my mind to fall asleep to the sound of the TV in the background. There’s a lot more atmospheric noise during the day as opposed to at night time so the TV helps to drown it out, now I can't fall asleep at all if I don’t have it on.” He explained, lazily making himself comfortable with his head in the

Shifter games

I hold my good arm out and take some of the water in to the palm of my hand and wash my face. I look over at the rocks again, I decide if I can lay them at the opening, itll atleast be one measure against me falling off the ledge if i move too much during the night. I can't sleep in wolf form, she needs to focus her energy on healing me, and healed I need to be if I'm going to get out of this to the best of my abilities. So with that last thought, I lay down and let the darkness be my guide. ~~~~ I wake up to a noise coming from the direction of the other opening. I see a light in the distance, and muffled voices.

Seduction: The taste of Lust

Seduction: The taste of Lust

I never welcomed a morning like this before, and fuck it felt good. And as much as I wanted to stay in bed, my buddy wanted a quick bathroom tour, I tried slipping out of her hold but she didn't move instead her hold tightened around me, I released a breath and close my eyes, now what, I can't go back to sleep and if I move on more time then she'll definitely wake up. I tried crossing my legs and pressing weight on my member to stop the urge to peeing, I need to close my eyes and divert my attention, think of something else and forget about peeing, I'll do it after she wakes up or when she moves from the top of me.

Noah, an Omega's story

Noah, an Omega's story

" I said as I gently caressed his face. His eyes slowly closed as he leaned into my hand. Almost right away I heard the sound of his bones snapping and popping. He began to whimper and cry as his bones broke then realigned. "That's it, you're doing so good!" I said, running my hand through his hair then down his back, but staying away from the center, letting my hand run along the side of his back. It would only hurt him if I touched his spine as those bones broke and realigned. So I stayed away from them, but gently ran my hand along the side of his back where I knew it would feel good and soothe him. When you first shift, the bones break, and realign slower than they do for someone like me

I'm still loving this series. I read this one after book 2, but it would have been better reading it after book 1. Thank you Author. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the books in this series :)

Best book in the series! Even knowing bits of Noah’s story, this brought things to an entirely different level. Loved being able to get more details about so many of the characters, even if at times it was heartbreaking. So good!
