Once Upon a Full Moon
I either worked or slept, there was little time or money for such frivolous activities as reading.
Elias sits next to me and opens the book, directing me to the index. “Here,” he says and points to a heading halfway down the second page. “Shifting,” he says aloud.
I look at the sub-headings, one of which is, ‘How to prevent the shift.' I turn to the page and start to read.
There are only two paragraphs. ‘In case of an emergency, if a wolf needs to prevent the full moon shift, they can take a herbal tincture made from Hemlock, Monkshood and Nightshade on the morning of the full moon.
