The Deal Dilemma Novels & Stories

one of the members of my pack present in the room says nervously. "Yes, traffic, of course…" I reply sarcastically. This is the reason why I haven't been able to finish this important deal since this whole disaster began. I was fully prepared to seal the agreement and get it over with, but Mr. Howking, our important dealer, kept stalling and canceling dozens of meetings, finally pushing me to my limit with his lack of seriousness. According to what I've been told, this is common behavior among human merchants. They make these kinds of "moves" to try to get a better deal from the person who wants to buy from them.

" Allyson did not reply immediately; she turned her head with a knowing glance. She knew that it cost me dearly to even consider stepping into this web of manipulation and deceit. "I will start working on contingency plans for the Fortex deal, just in case this does not work out," she stated practically, an ironic contrast to the emotional heaviness of the situation-the kind of heaviness someone like her would be more likely to be able to feel. "But if you know am here." "Thanks," I said quietly. This was no mere business deal. This was for people like Allyson, who had walked with my back through the fire and braved glass-sharp frostbite. She knew what was at stake, not just for the deal but

He said moving in my direction “Can we slow down for a minute? We don’t have to dance if you dont want It is not fair to you..” I voiced out trying to see if I get a quick glance at my phone to see if I have gotten any new update from Xain “A deal is a deal Darling And I am not one to dishonor a deal besides I think it going to fun” He said not in anyway bulging “I get it I really do But you realize that we made that deal when I was a bit tipsy so I don’t think it is even valid in the presence of the court

“That’s not enough. I don’t think it can’t cover all that money no matter how overpriced.” “I own this place amongst many others.” He spat. “If only you’d let me finish.” He rolled his eyes. “Very well then.” Ace nodded and Bruno explained the terms of it all and how it works to him. “Great. You can send the details and legal contract to my email. I’ll have my attorney skim through it and I’ll get back to you.” He said to Bruno. “You seem really experienced Mr Ace.” “I am, this isn’t my first rodeo with questionable businesses and partners.” He picked up a cigar from the cigar boy and it was lit for him.

“He’s not saying we shouldn’t sign it forever. Just that we hold off for one week. That’s it. He said he’ll gather whatever information he can find.” “Essence,” Sky said, tapping her nails on the table. “What if the deal disappears in that one week? What if we lose the contract? It's a life changing deal, Essy.” Hailey finally spoke up. Calmly. “Yeah, it’s a life-changing opportunity. But it could also be life-wrecking. Let’s not forget who Jason is and what kind of family he comes from.” Sky looked like she’d just bitten into a bitter leaf. “This is frustrating. We should be celebrating, not sitting here wondering if the sky is about to fall.”

Mia scurried away as Sofia inched closer to him. “I want to know what it’s truly about” He whispered. “It’s about us. It’s about the story of us” Sofia whispered and her eyes dropped to the stand right behind him, across the lasciviously beautiful book cover and the name across it—A Deal With Mr Baron. Truly, this book was about their story. About two people so different that they could swear they weren’t for each other but fate has a real funny way of laughing in our faces. Even after so long, even after so much had changed.

As the young and wealthy looking lady slowly took off her glasses, Carl kept a straight eye on her, since his curiosity had already taken him on edge “Hello Carl Gonzalez, my assistant just informed me and I will be glad to partner up with you, Delilah says as she leans forward “What Delilah, how did you get all this money from And all this huge body guards, Carl says to him self in a shocked way “No deal!, Carl yelled as he picked up the contract he had just signed and tore it up into pieces “Why no deal, we had agreed okay you can’t just do that and besides business is business okay you don’t have to bring personal matters into this, she uttered “Yes sir we had already made a deal, you can

"Straightforward. I appreciate that." He folded his hands together on the desk. "So," he said. "What have you decided?" The question hung in the air between us. I took a slow breath, steadying myself. "I’ve decided… I’ll accept the deal." Afterall, I didn't have to worry about getting my heart, broken. It's fake and more importantly, this is business. For a brief moment, he inhaled sharply. It was subtle, but I noticed it. Then he nodded. "Good."

“Do we have a deal?” “Ten million dollars. One million in cash. Four million to the account I will provide, and five million in bitcoin. I’ll call you when to meet, no cops, no extra heads. If I found out you’re bringing your buddies from Osmium, the deal is off. Take your lady friend with you.” “Why?” I stared at Olive, who was looking at me. “If you betray me, I’ll shoot her in the leg to slow you down.” Lynx mouthed. “Ask for proof.”

“O-Okay. This deal will only remain for the three of us. Pero, hindi pa rin magbabago ang desisyon ko. Ayoko nang ituloy pa.”
