Noah X Cody Novels & Stories

I nodded, turning back to Cody. “Are you good to go inside?” I asked him. The stare comes back, and I take the time to reflect back on the years I’ve known Cody. Cody is a whole new story. If I told anyone about how I met Cody, they’d look at me like I’m on drugs and probably deem me insane. The only people that knows about Cody is my mom, my grandma, Indra and Ludo. I want to think that Ludo knows the whole story, but he was young. Like Cody was young as well. So I kept that shit to myself. Not that it was my story to tell.

*****Henry***** “What is happening here?” Xavier’s voice echoes through the empty room, making Cody and I jump in surprise. We turn to see him standing in the doorway, his expression a mix of anger and confusion. “What is going on?” he asked, his eyes directed at me, ignoring Cody’s presence.

Cody finally spoke. "Who is your mother?" Cheyne asked quickly. “Evangeline Alexander.” Cheyne immediately got up from his chair. Just like Bryan could barely breathe when he discovered Cody's actual mother, "Does that mean you are Alpha Xander's son?" Cheyne stammered out the sentence. Cody didn't answer. He looked alternately at Cheyne and Bryan, who were very shocked. "Who is your father? Answer me, Cody!" Cheyne emphasized it again. "I don't know. Mommy said, I don't have a dad." Cody answered honestly, without worry or fear. Cheyne released a long, heavy breath. He turned away from Cody while Bryan continued to stare at the boy.
