"But when it does, it will crush them entirely. Trust me." He let out a rough, defeated groan, burying his face in my hair, inhaling deeply to soothe the roaring beast inside him. "I trust you. But I am not letting you out of my sight tonight." An hour later, the master suite was dark, save for the dying embers of the hearth. I lay on the massive, fur-lined bed, pretending to sleep, while Draven sat in the shadows of the armchair near the balcony doors, a silent, lethal guardian waiting in the dark.

“Yet, few nights ago, you begged me to fuck you.” My cheeks flushed red as I pushed him away, wrapping my hands around Theo as I swallowed hard. Draven looked at him, his lips curling into a smirk. “I guess I have my answer.” Before Theo could argue, the door swung open as a tall man with an athletic build stepped in. His dark brown hair was slick backwards with a few strands in the front, his brown eyes scanning the room as he inches closer, stopping in front of the bed. Adrian Whitman. Draven's second in command and his loyal assistant. Who would've thought that after all these years, Adrian would still be with Draven.

From the gap rose something small and round and glowing. The eldest of Dravenmoor's senior prefects — a seventh year, broad, grey-streaked at the temples walked to the altar. He looked into the plate to find a second name carved just beneath the first. “Lucien Thorne?” "Lucien." His voice cracked slightly on it. "Lucien Thorne?” Silence filled the room for a while before it broke into chaos — voices, gasps, someone knocking over a torch stand, a group of third years openly arguing already.

Went to stand by the door. Sable and Rook had gone to the far side of the clearing and were talking low and fast in the way of men solving a problem they'd already decided the shape of. Drift kept moving. He had too much energy for standing still — it came off him in a way that made Nero track him automatically, the same instinct that tracked things in the forest. Young. Ambitious. The dangerous kind of both. "The chains," Drift said, coming back. "We still have Draven's chains. The ones he broke."

Under the moonlight, he looked almost beautiful, but Hazel was too bothered to observe that. Slowly his eyes began to open, his colour returned, and the extreme cold that grasped him gradually left as he became warmer. Hazel had never seen anything like it before, but sitting right in front of her, Noah was completely healed. "Noah, what was that monster that was trying to kill us?" She asked, and with a sigh, Noah looked at her sadly while he held her face. "That monster is Draven."

“I guess part of me just knew you’d see something we didn’t.” Draven nodded slowly, his fingers tracing the seal of her House, a green dragon around the Aurelian crest. “I know what it’s like to be trapped beneath people’s expectations.” His words made my heart clench. He murmured, “You’re not like me, Nora.” “Neither are you, Draven,” I replied, swallowing hard. “I know,” he said, shaking his head. “But you were born into this disease. I was created in fear, a weapon forged in blood meant to hate each other.”

End Clint’s POV **Just outside of Naga’s territory in the tiny town of Blackbriar a threat emerges** This is so odd. I can see everything as if I am here, but when I look behind me, I see my head down on the table. The Trio comes to me and holds me. They kept saying, “Blackbriar, Sagittarius.” Blackbriar must be where I am. I look up and see the full moon nearly reaching its apex and I hear voices. I drift towards them. A group of hooded figures is standing in a circle with a man in its center. He's a bit older than me by a few years. He has medium-length dark hair and piercing hazel eyes. I hear a member of the group ask the man in the center if he is ready. They call him Draven and he says

As the conversation lightened, Dragon raised his hand, signaling for attention, and spoke with an air of authority, “There’s something else you should know about werewolves. When mates discover their destined bond, they must spend one night in the Cave of Souls. It’s an ancient place that deepens their connection on a spiritual level. That night grants them a vision of their shared future, binding their hearts in ways that cannot be undone.” Jenny seemed to spiral into a whirlpool of thoughts. An intense disturbance brewed within her, as if Dragon’s words had touched something hidden deep within her soul. Yet Dragon gave her no time to dwell on her thoughts. He leaned closer, his gaze like f

Genevieve blanched as well. "That's impossible. There's not a single warlock left. There hasn't been for centuries. Centuries? Not even for a millennia. How can a Draekien awaken without the blood magic of a warlock?" Morpheus mused. The Sybyl tilted her head again in that awkward manner. "There is one." "Then where is he? We kill him before the brethren are created as well." Zephyros snarled. "She is not in the Fae Lands."

Adam studied me for a moment before squaring his shoulders as if he had made a decision on something I wasn’t privy to. “Lizzy, Nathanial Devereaux isn’t your father. He’s ours, but your father is Alpha Lucas Montgomery of the Dark Moon pack.” The ground beneath me swayed, and I plopped to the ground, trying to get a handle on the spinning world around me. “I don’t believe you.” I whispered.
