Everywhere was dark when she woke up, she was no longer in the Zodak packhouse. Nora's head pounded, her body felt weak, and the sharp scent of earth and damp stone filled her nose. “Where am I?” She asked, opening her eyes slightly. With chains bounding her wrists tightly, which glow faintly with silver runes that suppressed her wolf within. She could feel a scary shadow loomed over her, she closed her eyes and reopen them again for a clearer vision, then she found herself staring at a face she hadn’t seen in years.

"I typed back. When I was about to put away my phone, my eyes flashed at the top of it. The time was 5 a.m.Shit! I had slept all through. I didn’t even wake up. That was weird. I always slept like a dog. I was either half asleep or half awake.I stood up and walked to the bathroom. After using the bathroom, I walked to the sitting room of the suite and saw Nora. She was cuddled up like a baby on the couch. Her hair cascades down to the floor. It gave me a clearer view of her.As she slept, I couldn’t help but notice how she looked peaceful. A smile was plastered on her face as she eventually did. Hours passed and Nora was yet to awake. Rose was so disturbed. It happened all too quickly. She communicating with her mother through whatever spell Melissa was muttering into her ears and seeing her dad shift. It was all too much. She sat down beside her on the bed. While her dad sat down on the chair close to her and Ciara and the rest stood outside. Then they notice her shift uncomfortably on the bed. Rose sat up in anticipation. Nora slowly opened her eye to see where she was. She closed it back abruptly when the light pierced in.

"Maybe he's still asleep. You know he's a night crawler. He must be in bed by now." Well, that was a good point. My half-brother, Robert was always partying. Except he had changed in the last few years—which was unlikely—he should be in deep slumber in a drunken state now. But what about Nora? That woman was restless. She was always up early to do whatever even though she had many maids at her beck and call. She should have seen the mail, right? Fuck! Did she wave it aside as a prank? My anxiety was shooting through the roof now. I refreshed my inbox over and over again. I was this close to throwing the phone away when two new emails popped on the screen.

I beg of her. Eve seems to snap out of her melancholy with a sudden sniff.
