Novel Idea Bookstore Novels & Stories

It was this stupid thread in my chest that tied me not only to my love but to other people who I don’t even freaking know, let alone should care about at all. I felt fucking stupid. I shoulder open the metal door to the bookstore which was located in the same building as the dining hall. The bookstore consisted of everything we’d need for a successful school year. Which included the backpack Xaden had gotten for me. There were also journals, notebooks, pencils, erasers, and oddly enough, art supplies. I didn’t even know art was a class that could be taken here. There were also small ‘emergency wands’, first aid kits, fur coat shine, claw buffers, crystal balls, and tons of different charms,

They came for the charm, I guessed. Two weeks later, I was still here. I was working at The Novel Grind, a bookshop that also sold coffee. Even better, I got the small apartment upstairs. My new boss used it for storage for years, so it was a mess of boxes. Still, it was mine. I loved it.

However, the café’s concept puzzled Ed because it was unusual to combine a café with books. “Reading and warm drinks.” Ed mumbled because the concept felt familiar—like déjà vu. Ed shook his head, returning his attention to the place. He entered and saw a long queue in front of the cashier.
