One time at work I'd even heard a co-worker called me the-Squidward-from-spongebob. Exactly why I hated them. That morning I'd just gotten up and, traditionally, said my good mornings to Sam triple zero eight, then the story stroke up. We were having a conversation of a book I'd just finished reading, 'No, Mr Harry Botter, do not turn me into a witch.' Believe me, it was a real book alright. The author was named Harry Botter, so he was the main character of his novel. Stories like that, what do they call them again? Paranormal stories, they were always fun to read. Partly because they were stupid, other part, they were nonsense. Nothing but ridiculous lies.

Gemma asked how many times he'd been divorced, and that shut him up quickly. The act after him was clearly the newest of all the wanna-be comedians who had been up so far. Each of his jokes he started with 'So did you guys hear...?' and he read a bunch of jokes about Australia off his phone. He got booed off stage, and you and Gemma didn't even start it. Then the Host introduced one of their 'regular crowd favourites', and you had to assume it was one of the semi-pros he had mentioned.

Lilly asked. “Knock yourself out,” I replied. “So, are we going to bother to address the elephant in the room?” Julie asked, looking over at her sisters. “Don’t you mean the wolf in the room,” I replied, trying to lighten the mood. My comment managed to make Lilly laugh out loud. “Right,” Julie replied, not sounding impressed with my joke, “So, you smell like a rogue,” Julie stated looking at me.

"Hahahahaha I swear your expression is so funny, like the complex moms whose husbands cheat on each other." Again he managed to trick her, Green desperately wanted to stab the man with a kitchen knife in her hand at the same time, if it was not forbidden, Green would do now. "The joke's weird, it's not funny at all." Langit tried to stop his laughter, and it had been long he didn't laugh loudly like today, his heavy things lifted with the laughter echoing in the room. "Green..., thank you." Langit spoke softly after stopping his laughter. "Why? For instant noodles?"

The other two girls giggled, as well, and Riley chuckled. “No,” Cindy snickered. “I’m Cindy.” “Oh, that’s right,” Amy declared. “I forgot. Sorry. Go ahead, Cindy, tell us your joke.” “Okay. What did one casket say to the other casket?” Amy glanced at Riley, but the awareness in his eyes made her look away. “I don’t know,” she said. “What did one casket say to the other casket?” Cindy giggled. “Is that you coffin?” Amy laughed. The joke was funny enough on its own, but the impish look on Cindy’s face was even more amusing, making Amy laugh all the harder. “That’s a good one, Cindy.”

Jaida covered her mouth, her chuckles brimming with ridicule. “It's utterly laughable. Truly, this is the biggest joke I've heard in years. The less a person knows, the bolder the lies they spin," Jett sneered.

Heavy with shit we weren’t saying. I cleared my throat. “Alright. That’s enough depressing hospital talk. You know what would really make my day better?” He glanced at me, brows raised. “A really dumb joke.” Andrew blinked. Then tilted his head a little, lips twitching like he was fighting a smile. “A dumb joke?” I nodded, lips curving around the cigarette still hanging from my mouth. “Come on. Hit me.” He gave me a look—half skeptical, half amused. “Fine. What do you call a sad strawberry?”

Lily's carefree spirit was contagious, bringing a newfound brightness to my room. As Lily and I settled into our conversation, we delved into the world of jokes and stories about Jude and Jade. Lily, with her infectious enthusiasm, shared amusing anecdotes that painted vivid pictures of her older siblings. "So, Katie," Lily began with a mischievous grin, "did you know that Jade once tried to teach Jude to dance? It was like watching a giraffe attempting ballet!" I burst into laughter, picturing the scene in my mind. Lily continued to spin tales, weaving humorous narratives about family dinners, inside jokes, and the playful rivalry between Jude and Jade.

Olivia read it aloud before she slammed her palm onto the table angrily, “What the f*ck?!” In contrast to Olivia’s exasperation, Jenny’s reaction was slightly better, laughing when she heard Olivia’s words. “My team used to tell me that many are kind in the wrong situations, but I wondered if that was true because I’ve never met many who were like that. It seems that all of them are on Twitter! Haha!” “Haha!” Lily broke out in a chuckle because of what Jenny said. “Jen! I never knew you were so funny! You can become a stand-up comedian.”

I answered him back making him regret his joke. He knotted his brows as I uttered and shook his head. "You can never take my jokes, Can you? You are a boring man. Everyone in my agency loves my joke and burst into laughter, especially girls. But you my friend don't even try to smile at them." He started with his complaint first before he disclose the matter he was mentioning before. "So what? It's my choice whether I want to laugh or not. Plus your jokes are not funny. Girls laugh at your jokes cause your money makes them laugh. Otherwise, you would have been the king of bad jokes." I said, resting my ass on the maroon couch.
