The Pack's Weirdo : A Mystery to Unveil

The Pack's Weirdo : A Mystery to Unveil

she told the male who was staring at Layla without blinking. Layla scoffed at her statement "have you not heard about mate bond and mate pull?" she told her while her eyes were glued to the man in front of her. He has a good height of 6'0 and has perfectly styled chestnut brown hair with blue eyes. Finally, on Layla's statement, that man smiled and shook his head... "and didn't I tell you, mia, that my mate would surely be the one with sarcasm" he told her, and on his statement, Layla blushed furiously... {now this is the way to meet your mate for the first time...}

This book has a great story line. Lots of mystery to keep your interest and twist and turns to make you read more. I love the main character strong female personality even though indecisive at times. There are errors and the transitions could be better but a good read overall. You will get better!

Worth reading. Has enough action to not be boring nor overwhelming. Great plot twists. FYI: several reviews mention some problems with language/syntax. An author’s note said it costs money to go back and edit. Look, MY English ain’t perfect, but I can understand enough of the story to enjoy it.

A Deal With The Millionaire

A Deal With The Millionaire

Mirah added and Layla nodded. " Yeah, we should just live our normal lives like before. A struggling life without a millionaire to be at our aid " She muttered and walked away into the room while Mirah followed behind. *** " Did you see that hot guy? " Mirah asked as they worked on their assignment. " Hot guy? " Layla asked without looking up. Her attention was based on the work before her. " Yeah, I couldn't help but stare at him all through, he's so damn handsome " Mirah muttered, still focused on writing.

A VOW TO HATE

A VOW TO HATE

Adam hushed the final words before shutting the briefcase and then leaving. “The money is good. We both knew that. But working together without either dying? That’s nearly impossible.” “I’ll poison you.” She threatened, picking up the file and then got on her feet. I let my eyes wander over her outfit. The yellow gown stopped over her knee. Layla is curvy. Not D Cups curvy, but curvy enough. She’s a C cup and that ass—what I’d give to have that ass hovering over my face, chest pressed against the bed, knees propped so her legs can fold neatly.

The mobster and the writer

The mobster and the writer

Life is unfair. I thought of Layla. I missed her. That girl was a bomb in anyone's life. She was blonde with short straight hair. She hated having long hair because she said she was lazy to comb it every morning. She was a goddess. She was the most beautiful woman he had ever met. She had several men in the palm of her hand, and one of them was Jay. The poor man had always been in love with my friend and he understood it perfectly. If I had been born a man, the same thing would have happened to me. She had a boyfriend right now and he was perfect for her. I've never seen her so good with a man before until that boy came along. Lewis. It wasn't Layla's style. She was a party and he was homey.

Love, Lessons, and Late Blossoms

Love, Lessons, and Late Blossoms

He reread her words more times than necessary, then turned to the closet and stared at the suits, as if any of them could make this easier. Friday. Noon. Whitmore Street. The café was small and sun-drenched, its tables lined with rustic ceramic mugs and hand-picked flowers. Layla arrived ten minutes early, nerves coiled under her skin like wires. She wore a navy blouse, simple earrings, and a curious expression. No expectations. But high alert. She had told no one but Mara. Not even Lucas. Especially not Ethan. As she sipped her lavender tea, her eyes scanned the door with growing tension.

When We Were Almost

When We Were Almost

She took a deep breath and let the pen move. We were almost nothing. Almost something. Almost brave enough to say what we meant before we lost it. But here’s the truth no one talks about— Almost is just the beginning of something better... if you don’t give up. She paused, reading it over once, her chest rising with a quiet exhale. Jayden looked up again, as if he’d felt something shift. “What are you writing?” he asked, brushing a strand of hair from his face. Layla hesitated, then tore the page from her journal and walked over to hand it to him.

Unexpected pregnancy with Alpha

Unexpected pregnancy with Alpha

she said, lunging forward to snatch the book from Layla’s hands. "Hey!" Layla protested, holding the book out of reach with a laugh. "Nope!" I said firmly, joining Zara in her attempt to confiscate it. "That’s definitely outside your scope, young lady." Layla giggled, finally letting the book go but not before delivering her final, shocking blow. She sat back against her pillows, crossing her arms with a smug look. "No!" she folded her arms, her voice filled with childlike confidence, "I’m old enough to know a lot of things. Like the fact that the baby’s father is Ryan."
