Blurred Lines

Blurred Lines

The stuff described sounds like social engineering, I think, but only on a cellular level. Then there is an email that makes me cold. The Butcher writes about how he plans to grow a new virus. At first, it will look like the flu virus. H5N1. People will be treated for it with the means that are currently prescribed for it. But it won't work. By the time the medical world realizes this, the virus will enter its next phase, namely that of a hemorrhagic virus.

The Tales Next Door

The Tales Next Door

Sam and Tina were driving to work, making their way through the slow Mumbai traffic. The news was playing on the radio. The last week had been full of information about a virus that had supposedly infected many people in New York. There was no known cure and no idea of how it spread. They had named it KV17, which the media had renamed ‘Killer Virus – 17’. “We all need to be careful. Viruses can get out of control very fast,” said Sam with a furrowed brow.

The Supreme Heiress

The Supreme Heiress

Tyler asked politely. "I don't think Mr. Newell's illness is like a typical mosquito bite. It's more like a new type of virus." Jade got straight to the point. "Even if a mosquito bite were severe, it wouldn't induce the peculiar symptoms Mr. Newell is experiencing, where the wound not only fails to heal but also deteriorates. Don't you find it strange?" "Oh, what do you think it could be?" Tyler asked patiently. "I think it's more like a new mutated virus," Jade said, her lips pursing as she continued. "Take mutation, for example. Mosquitoes carrying mutated viruses transmit them to humans through bites. Currently, I don't have a treatment method for this virus yet."

Thrilling Storm

Since he expected nothing, he won't be disappointed when he received nothing but another betrayal. At most, he'd sigh and turn to leave... "What did you say? Three students fell ill and were diagnosed with an unknown virus?" "That's what I heard from the TeleSearch. From the symptoms and finds, the virus resembles the Cornea from the 20s. Only..." "What? Only what?" "Whoever contracts it starts puking blood and if the symptom isn't treated within 24 hours, the skin of the victim peels off..." "What!? What the he**! What sort of virus is this!? And how did they even contract it!?"

THE X VIRUS

THE X VIRUS

He kept quite for a while and watch me pieces my gun and assemble it back with keen interest. It's been three weeks since the virus broke out with half of the population infected with it. Civilization is gradually going into extinction since there's no communication network anymore, the city already shut down it's power system two days after the virus broke out and now, surviving is not an easy task since food and water are now scarce. "Will she survive it?" Austin's voice jolt me out of my thoughts. "I'm gonn' be honest with you, I've never seen someone survive a scratch from an infected for 2 hours, but her case is different. She survived a bite for 2 days now. It's really weird" I told hi

Royalty In Rag: Return Of The Wolfless Queen

Royalty In Rag: Return Of The Wolfless Queen

He looked up, meeting the questioning stares around the table. Athena sat at the head, her posture firm, with Raymond beside her. To his right sat Justin, his beta, while Lorraine occupied the seat to Athena’s left. “The phantom virus,” he repeated. “It's a rare type of bug that can be attached to a particular post. Once done, the post replicates itself as soon as it gets deleted. It's a pesky thing. Hard to get rid of. Whoever did this wants to make sure it stays online no matter what.”

For new readers, this is my first werewolf story, but you can be rest assured that it is well-researched and will be worth your while. It promises strength, love, romance, steamy scenes, exciting plot-twists, revenge, power-rise, redemption and more. Your review, comments & vote will be appreciated.

I am really enjoying this book. I like Athena's character and her growth too. Love how supportive Raymond is. Richard is such an awful person. And Susan? Uggh, don't even get me started! I like the consistent update too. Weldone author.

Alpha and The Second Mate

Alpha and The Second Mate

In the evening, their whole body turned red and caused a burning sensation. Everyone experienced it until the performance of the house pack was slightly reduced, but strangely, only Alpha and Luna, Elder Sofia and the healers. The Crescent pack was clearly in chaos due to the sudden outbreak of the strange disease. Even the export process was temporarily at a standstill. Even the healers couldn't confirm what kind of virus it was, even though they had taken blood samples from patients in the pack and brought them to the city for research. The results concluded that it was a new virus, and there had never been research results before, even considered worse than the rabies virus or lychantopia

Tattooed Luna

Tattooed Luna

“I have another idea.” Alec leaned forward. “What’s that?” I was ready to kill someone. “My team has a newly developed airborne virus. It’s a viral bug that when breathed in, causes your blood to not clot and you bleed out. Similar to snake venom. We would need to introduce it into his air conditioning system. There is an antidote we would need to give Gunther and Kara.” “Why wasn’t this plan A?” “Well, it’s not 100% effective and still lightly experimental. They might still live. Their systems might not be deadly.”

I have been in absolutely in love with this book since the beginning. I have enjoyed how the story has continued to develop beyond the siblings and their mates, but to another level of complexity within the familial ties. Amazing writing, well developed characters, not your typical werewolf story.

Could not put this book down on the first read. I am now reading all three a second time. Love the story line. Kris and Alec are badass characters and love their chemistry. Would love another book with the original characters, but maybe some chapters with POV from Jacob and Sherry or Emmy and Jasper
