I stared at it long enough to consume the thought that I made it this far. I read the chapter from the top and made sure there are less errors. The feeling was unexplainable. I did it. I finished the novel. I took a deep sigh of relief as I saved it and closed my laptop. I stared at the view- mountains, big trees, green valleys, the lake, children playing with their kites-a home. While enjoying the view, a van suddenly stopped in front of our house. I waited until I saw a familiar figure of someone-her dark complexion, her cury hair, and finally..her lovely face.

Near the building was the kitchen, and around it were smaller rooms, probably meant for her helpers, if she had any. Across the building was a big lake with lotus flowers blooming everywhere on it. Violet was thrilled. Since there was a wooden chair and table right in front of the lake, she could sit there during her leisure time and enjoy the view. Poison stopped the carriage and Violet got ready to exit the carriage. “Could you please leave, Lance? I'll help the Saintess get comfortable.” Lance smiled, “I'm afraid that's not appropriate.” Poison smirk disappeared. “What did you say?”

Nova froze. Then it began glowing. Brighter. Brighter. Brighter. The room filled with silver light. A sharp wind burst from nowhere. The pages of the journal flipped wildly. One page. Two pages. Ten pages. Dozens. Until suddenly— They stopped. Nova stared. A page she hadn't seen before lay open before her. Hidden between two sections. Almost invisible. As though it had only just revealed itself. At the center was a map. A detailed map of the eastern mountains.

– Anu had told her over the phone. They walked into the restaurant and found a table near the glass wall that served as a demarcation from the outside. Ayo picked that spot because it would enable her to see everything going on outside. They settled on the seats around the table, leaving an empty for Anu. Before Anu’s arrival, they had ordered chicken fries and began enjoying the meal.

Nova woke to silence. Not the peaceful kind. The eerie, all-consuming kind made Nova question whether she was alone in the house, or if someone was just very good at staying hidden. The bed was too soft, and the room was too still. Nova sat up slowly, adjusting her eyes to the faint light seeping through the sheer curtains. That’s when she saw it. A single crystal vase sat on the nightstand beside her. Inside, a small cluster of pale wildflowers stood fresh and undisturbed. Soft blue and white, delicate, a little imperfect. Like something that had grown free instead of being arranged.

They observed the vast expanse of the sky and the breathtaking view of the landscape below, sharing their thoughts and experiences along the way. With her vibrant personality, Linda animatedly talked about the exciting sights they had explored in Palani and the memorable moments they had shared as a group.
