From Prison To Power: Rise Of The War Goddess

From Prison To Power: Rise Of The War Goddess

Since he didn't dare bother the two in front, he turned his attention to Michael. "What are you doing?" he leaned over to look at Michael's phone. Michael quickly turned off the screen and hid it. "Why hide it? I saw-you're writing a novel, right?" Hearing that, Scarlett glanced back through the rearview mirror. Michael lowered his head quietly. "No need to hide. I saw it. Didn't expect you to write novels. What kind? I can help you check it. I've been a bookworm for over ten years-read tons of novels. Especially works by SILENT-every single one, multiple times. If you want to improve, read his stuff. Absolute masterpieces!"

, he asks. " Then take both.", I reply. Michael shakes his head and then stretch out two of his fingers to me. " Touch one.", he says. I smile and touch his long middle finger. " Okay Macbeth.", Michael smiles and places Hamlet back. " Did you g..get your book ?", he then asks me. " Oh..yeah..I did.", I say and go to the Novels taking a random book from there which is apparently ' To kill a mocking bird' " Oh..why you wanted this n..novel ?", Michael asks me as we go to issue our books.

I really hope something happens to these bullies and they get a taste of their own medicine. I hope that they get kicked out of school. Somebody needs to kick their ass. I hope Michael gets a freaking backbone and stand up for himself and Ethan is a piece of shit. This book makes me so angry.

A Second Life Inside My Novels

A Second Life Inside My Novels

For the first time, Cathedra had someone who didn't cringe every time she opened her mouth to speak. So this is what having a friend feels like, huh? Cathedra thought to herself. One lunch break, while waiting for Diane underneath the tree, Cathedra was scribbling a draft of her first novel in her notebook. The novel contained the scenes she saw in the storybook, back in her kindergarten days. Since that day at kindergarten, she didn't tell anyone what she saw in the storybooks anymore. The thought of seeing things that other people couldn't still terrified her but she tried hard not to think about it by avoiding any book she can see other than school books and textbooks.

The HATE. The LOVE. The ANGER. The PASSION. It was giving everything all at once ......️‍... The tension between the characters?? TOXICALLY DELICIOUS ... Like I hated him, then loved him, then cried for them both. Their journey was so intense and twisted but soooo addicting ......

Revenge is Sweet

Revenge is Sweet

Fate allowed this one, a tainted sensualist, to live and sit opposite her, emphatically vibrating with a practically disgusting reputation. It was borderline farcical. Estela needed to get used to thinking more clearly. What did Michael Jensen bring to the table for anybody outside his profane stories of provocative adventurism, which, assuming all records were true, were put together to a limited extent for his way of life? His novels, on the other hand, sold in significant quantities. At the same time, Peter's poetry was hardly circulated and generated so little income that, without her income, they would have been financially doomed.

Things Slip Through

Things Slip Through

But as he moved closer, his unbelieving eyes discerned an adolescent boy’s gray profile, features shrouded by darkness, and printed across the bottom was: Gavin Patchett. One of the story’s main protagonists, Michael Lockenstein, was an autistic savant whose prophetic visions had become entangled in a serial murder case. Hence the book’s title—Shades of Darkness—because it described the different shades of darkness the boy had endured his entire life. His first novel.

The Billionaire's Alternate Plan

“That makes no sense at all. Are you sure? Wouldn’t it be a nonfiction tell-all book if she wrote one? “I don’t know what she would have written or if she wrote anything. I’ll try to gather some information.” “Get back to me quickly.” Michael disconnected the call and settled back into the car. Finally, he did what he should have done a long time ago. He looked up the author A.K. Crusader. He knew the man’s books only by their titles. Now he was curious. What Michael found only confused him more. A.K. Crusader wrote romance novels. A genre that was mostly written by women.

I started this thinking here we go same as so many on the app. But seeing Michael realize things weren’t how he believed and taking a good look at himself was refreshing. Juliette and her struggles were handled in a way that she wasn’t shown as incompetent but handling her issues. Good read
Harper Blake
The book's complex language and spelling errors made it unclear at times. Dialogues were overly long, often feeling like therapy sessions, which could be boring. However, the sincere discussion of ADHD and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome showed the author's personal touch. Overall, I'm glad I read it.

Frequently Asked Questions

I've noticed his books often blend gripping true crime with deep personal narratives. His most famous work is undoubtedly 'The Staircase', which became a bestseller due to its chilling exploration of his own life and the infamous trial surrounding his wife's death. The book's raw honesty and detailed storytelling captivated readers worldwide. Another notable bestseller is 'Behind the Staircase', where he delves even deeper into the psychological and legal complexities of his case. These books not only topped charts but also sparked widespread debate, making them must-reads for true crime enthusiasts.

Beyond these, 'A Time of War' also gained traction, especially among history buffs, for its vivid portrayal of wartime experiences. Peterson's ability to weave personal drama with broader historical contexts gives his works a unique appeal. Whether you're drawn to true crime or personal memoirs, his bestsellers offer a compelling mix of both.
