Whispers of Smoke: A Second Chance at Life

Whispers of Smoke: A Second Chance at Life

She looked quite terrifying. The police officers glared at me, and I felt bashful and got up from Joy before stepping back. Philip stood beside me like he wanted to protect me. Joy no longer had the energy to acknowledge me. She grabbed one of the police officer’s pant leg and mumbled, “C-Catch her… I want… to sue…” Before she could finish speaking, the police officer interrupted her, “Miss Joy, we will now arrest you on the grounds of theft, insurance fraud, and murder.”

WICKED PROVIDENCE Book 2

WICKED PROVIDENCE Book 2

"It’s alright, sweetheart. I will wait as long as it takes for your wolf to recognize me. I shouldn't pressure you after what you've been through." Sadie remained silent, unable to articulate the whirlwind of confusion inside her. Her last vivid memory was Delaney’s rogue pack dragging her and Madison into the dark caverns. The terror had been so absolute that her mind had shut down. Now, she was waking up in a grand pack hospital, with the most powerful female Alpha in the region weeping over her and claiming her as blood. Sadie was convinced this was a cruel trick of the mind. If she accepted this beautiful dream as reality, waking up back in Delaney’s cages would destroy her entirely. Out

WICKED HUNGER: A Dark, Forbidden Tale

WICKED HUNGER: A Dark, Forbidden Tale

She was dripping down his balls, trembling on the edge of coming, with her brother just steps away. Alex opened the fridge. The light spilled into the living room, almost reaching them. Ethan’s cock throbbed inside her. He smiled darkly against her neck and slowly rocked his hips once… twice… pushing just a little deeper. Lila’s mouth opened in a silent gasp. Would Alex turn around? Would he see his little sister impaled on his best friend’s thick cock? The fridge door started to close. To be continued…

Midwinter Town: A Novella

Midwinter Town: A Novella

Here he turned to Lady Anna, “Decisions, as you see, are quick with my wife.” “May God bless her for that!” said Lady Anna. Zosia, kiss the hand of the lady commanders.” But the lady commanders did not think of giving her hands to be kissed; she embraced Zosia again, for in some way they pleased each other at once. “Help us, gracious gentlemen,” cried she. Help us, and quickly!” said Zosia. “Quickly, for her head is burning!” muttered Zastar. But Basira, shaking her yellow forelock, said, “Not my head, but the hearts of those gentlemen are burning from sorrow.”

The Consuming Heart

The Consuming Heart

Susan finished reading a newspaper as she sat on her sofa by the window in her room upstairs, then she kept it aside, and moved to pick up a novel by her bedside table. She returned to the sofa, opened the page where she had stopped last night, and kept on reading. Reading novels, Susan discovered, was perfect for distraction. It took her mind off recent happenings, of her world, and took her to a world of her own. In her world of fantasy, she didn’t care what happened in her and without, especially the disturbance slowly stirring in High Town City (which the news, and the newspapers carried), and the great, uncontrollable urge to kill. She cared for nothing in this state actually, save for

Fist of Claws: The Rise of the New Alpha & his Queen

“I will tell you everything you need to know but first, promise me you won’t freak out.” “Freak out? Cops don’t freak out.” Detective White took his sit next to his wife. He focuses his gaze on her. “I’m all ears,” he said. Susan cleared her throat and began to speak in a tiny voice. “I’m an evil witch.” She lowered her head slightly. Detective White chuckles and hissed loudly. “There’s no such thing as being an evil witch in this 21 century.” Susan hissed. She silenced her hiss. “And yet you have seen werewolves and even hunted them.”

My Alpha, Her Mate

My Alpha, Her Mate

The kiss was sensual and inviting and I understood what she intend to do. Patrick came to call Susan. So I returned to my room. I had picked up a book from the library but it was a romantic novel. As I read it all I could think about was Alpha William and the familiar ache between my legs began. Susan returned looking a bit baffled. When I asked her why she told me something about a hunter visiting and saying horrible things to her. She didn't elaborate and I just let her be. Whatever he must have said must have cut deep.

Updating my review since I have finished the story. If you aren’t reading this story, you’re insane! So much goodness. Strong female lead, twists, turns, intrigue, lots of smut (but in the best way), betrayal and overall characters you love and root for. Read this story. You will not regret it!

This is an excellent book - very well written- great story line that’s exciting to follow. It takes you through all the emotions - the highs, the lows, and lower and then brings you up. Highly recommend- just the right amount of love and romance - I couldn’t put it down! You’ll love the heroine!

The Clandestine Saga

The Clandestine Saga

“Her name was Madison Rigby.” “Right,” he said tossing the folder down on her desk so that she could look at it. “You’re never going to believe it, but we got a match.” Watson’s eyes widened. “Seriously? You were able to locate a suspect in the database?” As he opened the file, Peter Dixon nodded in the affirmative. “Yep, never arrested for anything major, just a charge of public intoxication back in 2010, but it’s definitely a match.”

Don't Reject The Billionaire

Don't Reject The Billionaire

Susan could have sworn that she was over her past. Five years was enough to make her feel numb about what tragedy happened to her, but Richard Williams had appeared out of the blue and was sticking a knife into an old wound, making it bleed all over again. If only Richard knew what was about to happen to him, he would have defended himself, because the sudden show of disrespect from Susan was alarming. Susan took the cheque from Richard, tore it to pieces, and then threw it back at him. As if her pouring ice water on him was not enough. Not in Richards life had a woman ever disregarded him like this. He could not believe what was happening to him in Susan's hands.

Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve been following Susan Wiggs for years, and her 2023 releases did not disappoint. The big one is 'The Lost and Found Bookshop,' a heartwarming tale about a woman inheriting a quirky bookstore and discovering family secrets. It’s got that cozy small-town vibe Wiggs does so well, with a dash of romance and a lot of emotional depth. I particularly loved the way books play a central role, almost like characters themselves. Another gem is 'The Oysterville Sewing Circle,' which tackles heavier themes like domestic violence but balances it with hope and community. Wiggs has a knack for making serious topics feel accessible without losing their weight. Her writing is so immersive—I finished both in a weekend because I couldn’t put them down.
