She is a fool who has made a complete mess of her life and situation. *Yilan, my dear friend, your advice was right.* *My impulsive actions turned me into a frivolous and wanton woman. I teased and mocked every man, and they only saw me as an object of desire. This stupid behavior left me with nothing but fleshly pleasure, and my former reputation is completely gone. Do you remember my father's mistress whom I used to ridicule at the academy? That vulgar, indulgent, unrestrained, pleasure-seeking, and spendthrift woman—I have become no different from her.*

I understood enough of it to follow the architecture of what had been constructed and I kept reading because I needed to understand the full shape of it before I arrived at the conclusion I already knew was coming. Connected through two intermediary structures to a shell company that on paper belonged to a property investment firm in Luxembourg and in reality belonged to Lucas Moretti. I stopped reading. Sat with that for a moment. Then kept going.

The scent of pheromones grew stronger, mixed with a faint metallic sweetness. I turned my head away as my stomach churned violently, and I couldn’t stop myself from throwing up. Vincent rubbed my back sympathetically. "Is it because of the pup? He's really putting you through the wringer!" From the moment Vincent came home, I kept throwing up. When he tried to get close to me, I pushed him away in discomfort. "Please stay away from me. When I smell the scent on you, it makes me vomit even worse." Vincent sniffed his sleeve. "Maybe you don't like the cologne I'm wearing. This is the one you gave me, but if you don't like it, I won't wear it anymore. Is that okay?"

When he got to Vespera, she was asked which cartoon character she really loved and she replied: "The Goddess from the Sinbad cartoon." Ezekiel’s eyes twitched. His fists tightened and his hand holding the phone shook. The voices from the device only sank into the background of his mind as he stared at the smiley Vespera with less subconscious. Lorna's favourite character was also the Goddess Eris from Sinbad, Legend of the Seven Seas.

No Siya, don’t laugh at this godly man’s jokes who smells so incredible that’s its almost hypnotizing. “Then ask your fairy godmother for help and I am sorry Mr. Chambers but I don’t believe you, I am not going to risk m-“ I try to walk sideways away from him but I fall onto his chest with a thud. I squeeze my eyes tight for an impact but nothing happens.

“Give me a chance – I'll show you I’m a veritable wordsmith” “Ergh! The cheese!” “Cheese? Hmmm. Speaking of food...”

A strong arm helped me up. After I stood up, I thanked the man who helped me. I carefully looked at the man. He had really prominent features and curly black hair. “Elena, I’m Andrew Edwards.” “Edwards? Edwards Corporation?” “You’ve helped me in the past. Even though it was nothing to you, I wanted to repay your kindness.” “I… I don’t remember.”

And then he is gone. 2. Tuesday 27th April 2010 00:45 For some strange reason, Alice Cuthbert wakes up with the smell of bacon in her nostrils. Maybe it is from a dream that she was having.
